English Audio Labeling | U.S.-Based | $15–18/hour

We’re looking for careful, software-comfortable freelancers to label English conversations in our browser-based tool. You’ll listen closely to recordings, check transcripts against the audio, identify speakers and conversational events, and adjust labels and timestamps. This is detailed manual work, not simply running audio through transcription software. What you’ll do - Correct missing or misheard words while preserving what was actually said. - Identify speaker turns, short reactions, overlapping speech and other events according to our guidelines. - Adjust timing on an audio timeline. - Flag unclear sections and check your work before submitting. Who we’re looking for - Based in the United States. - Excellent understanding of conversational English. - Comfortable learning software and following detailed labeling rules. - Consistent, detail-oriented and responsive to feedback. - A computer, reliable internet and headphones. Experience with audio transcription, data annotation, quality review or tools such as Label Studio, Labelbox, CVAT, ELAN, Praat or Audacity is a plus. Coding is not required. Rate: $15–18 per working hour, depending on relevant experience. Work takes place in our tool. Recordings are confidential and must not be uploaded to external AI or transcription services.
