Enterprise Vault / Arctera Email Archiving Consultant

looking for an experienced Enterprise Vault / Arctera Email Archiving Consultant to support the design, deployment, migration, and implementation of an enterprise email archiving and information governance solution for a government-sector customer. The ideal consultant should have extensive hands-on experience with Enterprise Vault (formerly Veritas, now Arctera) and a strong background in Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, enterprise messaging platforms, Active Directory integration, and large-scale email archive migrations. This is a technical consulting role requiring someone who has successfully delivered multiple Enterprise Vault implementations in enterprise environments. Scope of Work The selected consultant will be responsible for: Reviewing the existing email infrastructure and archiving environment Designing the Enterprise Vault / Arctera solution architecture Deploying and configuring the Enterprise Vault platform Integrating with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 Integrating with existing enterprise messaging platforms Configuring Active Directory authentication and permissions Storage integration and archive repository configuration Database integration and configuration Migrating legacy Enterprise Vault environments Migrating PST files into Enterprise Vault Importing legacy email archives Implementing email retention and lifecycle policies Configuring Legal Hold and Compliance policies Configuring indexing and enterprise search Supporting eDiscovery requirements Performing testing, validation, and user acceptance support Knowledge transfer and technical documentation Required Skills Applicants should have strong experience in: Enterprise Vault (Veritas / Arctera) Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises) Microsoft Exchange Online Microsoft 365 Enterprise Email Archiving PST Discovery and Migration Legacy Archive Migration Exchange Journaling Active Directory LDAP Integration Windows Server SQL Server Storage Systems (SAN/NAS) Information Governance Email Retention Policies Legal Hold eDiscovery Enterprise Search Backup and Recovery High Availability and Disaster Recovery Preferred Experience Experience with government or large enterprise environments Experience migrating from legacy email archiving platforms Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and information governance Experience with Enterprise Vault upgrades and platform modernization Familiarity with hybrid Exchange environments Experience integrating with enterprise storage platforms Deliverables Solution Architecture Review Deployment Plan Enterprise Vault Installation & Configuration Exchange / Microsoft 365 Integration Active Directory Integration Storage & Database Configuration PST & Legacy Archive Migration Retention Policy Configuration Testing & Validation Technical Documentation Knowledge Transfer Ideal Candidate 8+ years of Enterprise Messaging and Email Archiving experience 5+ years of hands-on Enterprise Vault / Arctera implementation experience Excellent troubleshooting and migration expertise Strong communication skills Able to work remotely and participate in technical workshops with customer teams
