Established Wikipedia Editor

We have identified 150 Wikipedia articles about Icelandic attractions that are currently brief, outdated, or missing important information. Or they need translations in any of the 16 languages that our in-house translators support. (5 English edits; the rest are are pages missing translations). We are looking to work with an experienced Wikipedia editor who understands Wikipedia’s editorial standards, conflict-of-interest guidelines, neutrality requirements, and citation policies. The project would involve uploading articles that have been fully worked by our in-house editors and translators. Guide to Iceland should be used as a reference where its content meets Wikipedia’s sourcing requirements and adds genuine encyclopedic value. Any contributions must remain neutral, transparent, properly cited, and fully compliant with Wikipedia’s rules. The project is not intended as a backlink-building exercise or promotional campaign. Our broader objective is to improve the quality and accessibility of information about Iceland’s lesser-known attractions. By helping travelers discover a wider range of destinations, we hope to encourage better regional distribution of tourism and reduce pressure on Iceland’s most heavily visited natural areas. We can provide research, photography, local knowledge, and professional translations, while the editor would retain full responsibility for ensuring that all proposed changes meet Wikipedia’s standards.
