Etsy / Printful / POD Specialist and/or Canva Graphic Designer for Educational Gift Business

Job Description I am developing a broader educational business for teachers, parents, students, and families. One part of the business will sell school-humor gifts and related products through Etsy, initially using print-on-demand. I already have the product concepts, humor, target markets, and overall business direction. I am looking for talented people who can help me turn those ideas into professional products and a strong Etsy presence. I may hire one person or two specialists I am open to finding one person who is genuinely strong at both graphic design and Etsy/POD operations, but I am also very willing to hire two different specialists if that produces better results: 1. Graphic Design / Canva Specialist Someone with a strong visual sense who can: Improve and refine existing product designs Create attractive designs for mugs and other products Prepare production-ready files for Printful Create professional mockups and Etsy listing images Design images that are especially effective when viewed on mobile and in Etsy search results Create shop banners and other storefront graphics Work comfortably in Canva Provide Canva-editable source files so that I can make changes myself later 2. Etsy / Printful / Print-on-Demand Specialist Someone with practical experience operating successful Etsy/POD businesses who can help with areas such as: Etsy shop setup and organization Printful setup and Etsy integration Product setup Sizes, colors, and product variations Listing structure Etsy titles, tags, descriptions, and SEO Listing-image strategy Shop sections Shop banners and storefront presentation Pricing Promotions and discounts Etsy search visibility Print-on-demand workflow Other practical elements that can improve the chances of success on Etsy If your expertise is primarily in one of these two areas, please still apply. Tell me where you are strongest. I would rather hire an excellent specialist than require one person to be average at everything. Initial Project At first, this will be a fixed-price project. I have an existing mug concept that needs to be improved and professionally executed. The underlying concept and humor already exist. The initial project may include improving the design, preparing Printful-ready files, producing strong listing images/mockups, and improving the Etsy listing and product setup. I am interested in hearing your recommendation for what should be included in this first project, rather than prescribing every detail myself. Please give me: Your proposed approach What you think should be included in the initial fixed-price assignment Your proposed fixed price Approximately what you would deliver for that price Examples of similar work you personally created It is completely fine if you have questions before giving me your final proposal or price. In fact, thoughtful questions are a positive sign. General claims such as “I know Etsy” are less useful to me than examples of shops, products, listings, designs, or results you personally worked on. Design File Requirement An important requirement is that design/source files be provided in Canva-editable form whenever practical. I do not want to become dependent on Photoshop, Illustrator, or other Adobe-only source files that I cannot easily modify myself. Final production files can, of course, also be supplied in the formats required by Printful and Etsy. Ownership of Work All work created and paid for as part of this project will belong to my business. That includes, where applicable: Designs Source files Canva files Print files Mockups Listing graphics Shop graphics Listing copy SEO work Templates Other project materials The work may not be reused, resold, or supplied to another business after payment. Longer-Term Opportunity This first fixed-price project is also a way for us to determine how well we work together. If it goes well, there should be considerably more work. The Etsy shop is only one part of a broader educational business, and I expect additional products, designs, listings, digital products, and other work as the business develops.
