Overall summary CLOC is seeking a marketing contractor to manage event campaign execution through the end of 2026. This role covers CLOC's global events portfolio, including CGI, regional events, Academy Days, and other programs as assigned. You will turn event priorities into integrated campaigns and run them from launch through closeout, including registration growth, paid media, and sponsor and speaker amplification. 1. Event campaign execution and management Primary points of contact: Angela den Tex, VP of Marketing & Communications; Dana Frank, Associate Director, Marketing Support planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for CLOC's major events. Translate campaign strategy into email, social, web, and paid media activities. Manage campaign execution from launch through closeout. Maintain campaign calendars, timelines, and deliverables. Maintain campaign trackers and provide regular status updates. Coordinate with Events, Learning & Engagement, Sponsorship, Membership, Leadership, and other stakeholders to gather information and approvals. Monitor registration pacing and campaign performance and recommend adjustments. Identify gaps, risks, or opportunities in execution, timing, messaging, or channel performance, and communicate recommendations. Keep campaigns aligned with CLOC's brand, messaging, and audience strategy. Support multiple event campaigns at once while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines. 2. Sponsor, speaker, and partner amplification Support marketing activities that extend the reach of CLOC events through sponsors, speakers, and external partners. Coordinate promotional requirements and timelines for sponsors and speakers with the CLOC staff liaison. Provide or adapt approved promotional assets and messaging. Track promotional deliverables and follow up on outstanding items. Support development and updates of sponsor-facing marketing materials. 3. Event email campaigns Build, edit, QA, and schedule email campaigns tied to event milestones. Develop campaign sequences based on event milestones, audience segments, and registration goals. Build and maintain automated email journeys for event registration when applicable. Test subject lines, calls to action, and messaging. Coordinate audience segmentation and targeting with Marketing. Monitor email performance and recommend improvements to engagement and conversion. 4. Paid media and registration acquisition Manage paid acquisition campaigns across Google Ads and other approved channels. Develop and maintain campaign structures, audiences, keywords, creative, and messaging. Monitor spend, performance, cost per registration, and conversion. Optimize campaigns based on performance data. Test audiences, messaging, creative, keywords, and landing pages. Identify opportunities to improve paid campaign efficiency and registration conversion. Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to Marketing leadership. 5. Event website pages Build and update event pages and microsites within CLOC's website framework. Add and maintain event listings, speaker information, program information, and sponsor information. Implement approved updates to event pages throughout the campaign lifecycle. QA registration links, calls to action, forms, and mobile presentation. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and IT when technical assistance is required. Marketing owns website structure, layout and design, branding, graphics, user experience, and implementation. 6. Event social promotion Develop, edit, and schedule event-related social content. Coordinate social campaigns with email, website, paid media, speakers, sponsors, and partners. Support speaker and sponsor amplification. Develop promotional content tied to event milestones, programming, and registration goals. Monitor social performance and recommend adjustments to improve reach and engagement. 7. Event performance reporting Track campaign performance against established goals and benchmarks. Identify trends, opportunities, and underperforming areas. Recommend and implement adjustments based on performance. Maintain campaign reporting and performance documentation. Support post-event campaign reporting and internal debriefs. 8. Cross-functional coordination Work closely with Events, Learning & Engagement, Sponsorship, Membership, Leadership, and external partners and vendors. Participate in relevant planning meetings and campaign check-ins. Translate cross-functional inputs into actionable marketing deliverables. Maintain visibility into campaign status, deadlines, and dependencies. Escalate issues requiring leadership decisions or additional resources.
