Excel & Google Sheets Automation Expert – VBA, Apps Script & AI Automation

We are looking for an experienced Excel and Google Sheets Automation Specialist to build, improve, and maintain automated spreadsheets and business workflows. Responsibilities: - Build and optimize advanced Excel workbooks, formulas, dashboards, and reporting systems. - Develop VBA macros and automation for repetitive Excel tasks. - Build Google Sheets solutions using formulas and Google Apps Script. - Create automatic reports, dashboards, data processing, alerts, and workflow systems. - Automate imports, exports, data cleaning, reconciliation, inventory/order workflows, attendance, MIS, billing, and other business processes. - Connect Excel and Google Sheets where required and automate data synchronization. - Use AI-assisted methods/tools where appropriate to speed up development, improve workflows, or add smart automation features, while validating outputs for accuracy. - Fix errors and improve existing Excel/VBA/Google Sheets systems. - Document important logic and provide practical handover/support. Requirements: - Strong hands-on Excel and VBA experience. - Strong Google Sheets and Google Apps Script experience. - Good understanding of automation, formulas, data handling, dashboards, and business reporting. - Ability to understand an existing workbook and turn manual processes into reliable automated workflows. - Attention to detail, testing, and error handling. - Clear communication and ability to work independently. Acceptance Criteria: - The requested spreadsheet/workflow functions correctly using the provided requirements and test data. - Automation reduces the specified manual steps and produces consistent outputs. - Formulas, VBA, Apps Script, dashboards, reports, and data flows are tested with normal and edge-case inputs. - No avoidable broken formulas, runtime errors, or data-loss issues remain at handover. - Any assumptions, limitations, setup steps, and required permissions are clearly documented. - Final files/scripts are organized and usable by the client without unnecessary technical complexity.
