Executive Assistant to CEO/Managing Attorney (Part-Time, Fully Remote)
Worldwide
The law group is a growing family law, criminal defense, and estate planning firm led by a hands-on CEO/Managing Attorney who is scaling the business while still practicing. We're looking for a sharp, discreet, and proactive Executive Assistant who can manage the CEO's professional and personal life with equal skill, keep her on schedule and on task, and help run a Minority Legal Owners Collective she leads for minority law firm owners. This is a fully remote, part-time role to start, with the potential to grow as the fit proves out. This is not a passive scheduling role, either — we need someone who will actively manage the CEO — track her commitments, chase her down (kindly but firmly) when deadlines are close, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Key Responsibilities Calendar & Scheduling Manage both work and personal calendars, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts Book appointments for the CEO and her family members Ensure the CEO attends every meeting — reminders, prep materials, and follow-up as needed Email & Communications Monitor and triage the CEO's inbox Flag and escalate time-sensitive or high-importance emails Draft responses on her behalf where appropriate Task & Accountability Management Track outstanding tasks and assignments across work and personal commitments Follow up proactively — comfortable pushing the CEO to complete things, tactfully but persistently Keep a running priority list and surface it regularly Minority Legal Owners Collective Help run the day-to-day operations of this collective (scheduling, communications, member follow-up, logistics) Assist with planning bi-monthly events for the collective Confidentiality & Discretion Handle sensitive personal, family, and business information with absolute discretion Maintain strict confidentiality regarding firm operations, client-adjacent matters, and personal affairs Requirements Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a founder, executive, or attorney Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities A track record of discretion with sensitive information (references may be checked) Comfortable being assertive with a busy executive — able to push back and hold her accountable without being pushy or unpleasant Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently in a remote setting without close supervision Comfortable with virtual collaboration tools and asynchronous communication Nice to Have Experience supporting someone in the legal industry Familiarity with Clio, Microsoft 365, or similar practice management/calendar tools Experience managing both professional and household/family logistics for one person
