Summary

I’m looking for a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant who can become an extension of me across my work as an artist, creative, and business owner. I’m building a team that includes people such as a social media producer, video editors, a partnerships manager, project managers, email marketing support, and other contractors. I need one person who can help oversee everything, keep communication moving, follow up with the team, and make sure I don’t have to personally manage every individual person or project. The goal is for us to meet regularly, I communicate my priorities to you, and you help make sure those priorities are moving across the rest of the team. A major priority in this role will be helping lead the day-to-day coordination of my social media and content operation. I will have a social media producer and editors handling strategy and content creation, but I need you to make sure the work is actually moving — following up on deliverables, keeping everyone aligned, tracking what is ready, flagging what is missing, and making sure I consistently have content prepared and ready to post. Responsibilities may include: - Managing my inbox and staying copied on important email threads -Keeping correspondence warm and following up when needed -Flagging important emails, opportunities, deadlines, and things that need my attention - Reminding me about messages or tasks I may have missed -Coordinating across contractors, creatives, and team members -Following up on deliverables and deadlines -Keeping track of where different projects stand - Meeting with me weekly to give me clear updates across the operation - Helping coordinate my social media and content team to make sure releases, edits, assets, and deliverables are moving - Coordinating with partnerships, marketing, production, and project management support - Helping with personal administrative tasks such as travel bookings, hotels, reservations, scheduling, and logistics - Creating simple systems for organization and accountability - Helping me make decisions, prioritize, and eventually handling certain decisions on my behalf - Assisting with hiring, onboarding, or coordinating additional contractors when needed - Taking the lead on coordinating my social media and content workflow - Working closely with the social media producer and editors to make sure deliverables are completed on time - Tracking what content is in progress, what is ready to post, what is waiting on approval, and what still needs attention - Following up on edits, captions, thumbnails, assets, and other social deliverables so I am not personally chasing the team A large part of this role will involve creative projects and social media coordination, so experience in entertainment, music, media, creator businesses, production, or other creative industries is strongly preferred. However, you do not need to be the person editing content or creating the social media strategy yourself. Your job is to make sure the right people are doing those things and that everything stays on track. This role requires trust, strong judgment, communication, discretion, and initiative. I’m looking for someone who can learn how I operate, understand what matters to me, and increasingly anticipate what needs to happen without waiting for instructions every step of the way. I am based in Los Angeles, but this role can be remote. Some overlap with Pacific Time will be important. We’ll start at approximately 10 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow toward 20 hours per week as the role develops. Rate: $20/hour with rate increase after 60 days. When applying, please share your relevant experience supporting executives, artists, founders, creators, or small teams; the types of people or projects you’ve coordinated; your availability; your time zone; and your hourly rate.
