Experienced HR / Compliance Writer for Country Employment Guides — Human Research & Writing Only

We are looking for an **experienced research-driven writer** to create detailed country employment guides for **an EOR company**. This is not a standard SEO writing role. The guides cover **HR, employment, payroll and compliance-related topics**, where factual accuracy is extremely important. We need a writer who is comfortable researching unfamiliar and sometimes difficult questions from scratch and who can be trusted to keep digging until they find a reliable answer. ## The most important requirement: no generative AI All research and writing for this project must be completed by you. You may **not use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or other generative AI tools to research, draft, rewrite, summarize sources, fact-check or produce the content**. You will be given a structured list of questions that need to be answered for each country. Your job will be to research those questions manually using Google and reliable sources, determine which information is current and trustworthy, and then write the guide yourself. If your normal workflow depends heavily on AI tools, **this role will not be a good fit**. ## What the work involves You will: * Research employment and HR requirements for individual countries from scratch. * Work through a detailed list of research questions provided by us. * Find reliable and preferably primary or authoritative sources. * Cross-check information where necessary rather than relying on the first search result. * Write clear, accurate and useful answers based on your research. * Follow our content structure, formatting requirements and editorial instructions closely. * Flag information that is unclear, contradictory or difficult to verify rather than guessing. * Keep factual accuracy at the centre of the writing process. Topics may include areas such as: * Employment contracts * Working hours * Minimum wage * Payroll * Employer taxes and contributions * Employee benefits * Leave entitlements * Termination requirements * Probation periods * Notice periods * Employment compliance You do **not** need to already know the employment laws of every country. What matters is that you are an excellent researcher who knows how to find and evaluate the right information. ## Who we are looking for You should: * Have professional content writing experience. * Have strong online research skills. * Be exceptionally careful with factual information. * Be comfortable working on compliance-heavy topics. * Be able to distinguish reliable sources from weak or outdated ones. * Follow detailed instructions precisely. * Write clear, natural English. * Be able to work independently without needing significant editorial correction. * Be willing to complete all research and writing without generative AI. **Experience writing about HR, employment, payroll, Employer of Record services, global employment, legal/compliance topics or a closely related field is strongly preferred.** ## Writing samples are required Please send **2–3 relevant published writing samples** with your application. HR, employment, payroll or compliance-related samples are strongly preferred. If you do not have samples from these exact niches, please send the closest examples you have that demonstrate **strong research and factual depth**. Please do not send general lifestyle, entertainment or basic SEO articles unless they demonstrate the type of research required for this project. ## Rates Our initial budget is approximately **$0.045 per word**, but this is **not necessarily a fixed ceiling**. We are willing to pay more for a writer who demonstrates exceptional research ability, accuracy and reliability. For us, finding someone we can trust with these guides is more important than simply finding the lowest rate. Please include your usual per-word rate when applying. ## Quality and originality requirements Because these guides contain compliance-related information, accuracy and originality are non-negotiable. By accepting an assignment, you agree that: * The research will be conducted by you without generative AI. * The content will be written by you without generative AI. * Sources will be genuinely reviewed rather than invented or cited without being checked. * Information will not be fabricated or guessed. * You will follow the supplied research and editorial instructions. Submissions that materially violate these requirements, including content produced using generative AI or work containing an excessive number of serious factual inaccuracies, **may be rejected and not approved for payment, subject to the terms of the platform through which we are working**. We are not looking to penalize writers for an occasional minor mistake.
