Experienced ConTech Consultant Needed to Design & Deliver 1-to-1 Training Programme

We are looking for an experienced Construction Technology (ConTech) professional to provide tailored one-to-one training for one of our employees who wants to build a long-term career as a ConTech consultant. The employee is starting with very limited practical construction-industry knowledge, so the programme would need to begin with the fundamentals and progressively develop toward professional-level Construction Technology consulting skills. We are not looking for a standard software course or someone who will simply teach how to use Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, or similar platforms. We are looking for someone with genuine construction and Construction Technology implementation/consulting experience who can teach how the industry actually works and how technology is successfully implemented within construction organisations. Before starting, we would like you to provide a detailed proposed training plan showing: - The subjects you would teach from beginner through to advanced/professional level. - The order in which you would teach them and why. - The estimated number of weeks and training hours required. - What level of construction knowledge you would teach, including project lifecycle, project stakeholders, drawings, RFIs, submittals, document control, cost/commercial workflows, variations, forecasting, scheduling, BIM/CDE concepts and other areas you consider essential. - Which Construction Technology platforms you would cover and to what depth. - How you would teach SaaS implementation, customer discovery, requirements gathering, AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping, configuration, data migration, UAT, go-live, training, adoption and optimisation. - How you would incorporate data, Power BI, integrations/APIs, automation and AI into the programme. - What practical projects, exercises and realistic customer scenarios the learner would complete. - How you would assess progress and determine when the learner is ready for Construction Technology roles. - Which job roles you believe the learner should realistically be able to apply for at different stages of the programme. - What additional learning or real-world experience would still be required before reaching consultant, solutions consultant or senior ConTech positions. We would particularly value scenario-based training rather than lectures. For example, we would like the learner to be given realistic contractor/client problems, conduct discovery, map existing processes, recommend improved digital workflows, create implementation and adoption plans, present solutions and receive detailed professional feedback. The long-term objective is not simply software proficiency. We want the learner to develop into someone capable of understanding a construction organisation, identifying operational problems, recommending appropriate technology, supporting implementation and adoption, and eventually progressing into Construction Technology consulting, digital transformation and solutions roles.
