Experienced OCR A-Level Chemistry Tutor Wanted We are looking for an experienced and highly capable A-Level Chemistry teacher/tutor to provide one-to-one online tuition for a student studying OCR A-Level Chemistry. We are looking for someone with a strong teaching background, substantial A-Level Chemistry experience and a proven ability to help students achieve excellent academic and examination results. We are looking for someone who: - Has extensive experience teaching A-Level Chemistry - Has direct experience with the OCR A-Level Chemistry specification - Is familiar with the current OCR syllabus, assessment objectives, examination structure and practical requirements - Regularly uses official OCR past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports - Understands OCR's approach to marking and what is required for high-grade answers - Has strong knowledge across Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry - Can teach calculations, mechanisms, chemical structures, reactions and practical concepts clearly - Can identify learning gaps and create a structured programme to address them - Has strong examination and assessment experience - Can help students develop the ability to apply Chemistry to unfamiliar questions - Can provide regular assessments and progress feedback - Is comfortable delivering structured one-to-one online lessons We are looking for someone who can go beyond simply teaching the content and help develop deep understanding, confidence, exam technique and independent problem-solving skills, with the ultimate aim of helping the student excel. Direct OCR A-Level Chemistry teaching experience is highly desirable. A trial lesson will be required before committing to a longer-term arrangement.
