Looking for an Experienced YouTube Scriptwriter for a Dark Wildlife Documentary (New) Channel This is a LONG-TERM position with real growth potential. Bonuses and pay increases are performance-based, tied to originality, quality, audience & retention—not just word count. This is NOT a generic animal facts channel. If your writing feels like Wikipedia, listicles, recycled hooks, AI-generated summaries, or predictable documentary scripts, this is not the right fit. We're looking for someone who understands that great documentaries don't just explain—they challenge assumptions, create curiosity, and leave the audience seeing the subject from a completely different perspective. You'll be responsible for: -Writing 1–2 high-quality documentary scripts per week (~1,800–2,100 words each). -Conducting deep research using documented cases, and other reliable sources. -Turning complex research into compelling, engaging stories. -Making familiar animals feel fresh, fascinating, and memorable. -Ensuring every script feels unique in rhythm, pacing, and storytelling. -Avoiding repetitive phrasing, recycled transitions, and formulaic storytelling. Your scripts should naturally help the editor understand: -What should be shown on screen. -When visuals should slow down or accelerate. -Where silence, music, pacing, or contrast should enhance the narrative. -Which moments deserve emotional emphasis without feeling forced. -This role requires thinking beyond information.
