Experienced Web Development Partner for Premium Swiss Hospitality Website

We are looking for an experienced web developer or small development team to build a modern, high-performing website for an established Swiss hospitality business. The business combines a four-star hotel, restaurants, wellness, meetings, events and a premium event venue. The new website should reflect this diversity while presenting the brand in a clear, modern and premium way. This will be a hybrid collaboration. Brand strategy, positioning, website structure, content direction and internal coordination will be handled by our team in Switzerland. We are looking for a reliable technical partner who can translate this foundation into a polished, fast and easy-to-manage website. ABOUT THE PROJECT The current website runs on Joomla and has become difficult to manage and develop further. We are therefore planning a complete website relaunch. The new website must: * Present the hotel, restaurants, wellness facilities, meetings and events clearly * Support both German and English * Work perfectly across mobile, tablet and desktop * Be easy for the internal marketing team to update * Integrate or link existing hotel booking, restaurant reservation and ticketing systems * Provide strong technical foundations for SEO, analytics and digital campaigns * Deliver a premium user experience that matches the positioning of the business * Achieve strong loading speed and Core Web Vitals * Allow future expansion without rebuilding the entire website The final technology has not yet been selected. WordPress with a flexible custom block system is currently one possible option, but we are open to well-founded recommendations. We do not need a custom hotel booking engine. Existing external booking, reservation and ticketing solutions will remain in use and need to be integrated through links, embeds or available interfaces. It should not look like a generic hotel template. Brand direction, references and content will be provided. The exact division of UX/UI design and Figma work will be agreed based on the selected partner's capabilities. If you also offer strong UX/UI design, please include relevant premium hospitality or lifestyle examples. If your main strength is development, please explain how you normally collaborate with external designers and implement Figma designs accurately. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a partner with: * Proven experience with premium hospitality, travel, lifestyle, restaurant or event websites * Strong WordPress or comparable CMS development experience * Experience migrating websites from Joomla or another legacy CMS * Experience with multilingual websites * Excellent responsive implementation * Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO * Clean, maintainable development standards * Clear written and spoken English * Reliable project management and communication * At least two to four hours of working-time overlap with Central European Time * Availability for weekly video calls and progress demonstrations Individual senior developers and small specialised teams are both welcome. We are particularly interested in a long-term technical partner who could also support the website after launch. PROJECT PROCESS We plan to begin with a paid discovery or pilot phase before awarding the complete development project. The first phase may include: * Review of the existing website * Technical recommendation * Proposed architecture and CMS structure * Implementation of one representative page or homepage section * Project timeline and final cost estimate If the pilot is successful, the partner will be considered for the complete website development. EXPECTED BUDGET The expected budget for the complete technical implementation is approximately USD 15,000 to USD 30,000, depending on the final scope, technology, design responsibilities and required integrations. The project will be divided into clear milestones. Please provide a realistic estimate based on the information available rather than submitting an artificially low placeholder price.
