Experienced Web Portal Developer Needed for Growing Ed-Tech ISV

We are a growing, Microsoft oriented student information system developer seeking an experienced Web Portal Developer to build secure, scalable portal applications using MS Dataverse as our backend database for our higher-education clients. Role Summary This role will design, develop, and deploy full-stack web portal features using Visual Studio, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Docker containers integrated to the Microsoft Power Platform. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain web portal features for a student information system platform. • Develop responsive ReactJS user interfaces and NodeJS backend services. • Use Visual Studio tools for development, debugging, and builds. • Create and support Docker-based development and deployment environments. • Collaborate with product, QA, implementation, and support teams. • Troubleshoot issues and contribute to code quality, documentation, and development standards. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of professional web application or portal development experience. • Strong experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. • Practical experience with Docker containers. • Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, secure coding, Git, and troubleshooting across the application stack. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience • Experience with K-12, higher education, student information systems, enterprise portals, or data-intensive business applications. • Familiarity with role-based access, dashboards, reporting, CI/CD, cloud hosting, SQL databases, or third-party integrations.
