Project Title Cinematic Music Video Editor / Producer Needed for Original Song — “America, We Love You” Project Overview I am seeking an experienced music video editor / visual producer to create a cinematic music video for an original professionally recorded song titled “America, We Love You.” The song is approximately five minutes long and is built around themes of hope, unity, peace, American ideals, moral leadership, service, and America’s relationship with the wider world. This is not intended to be a conventional patriotic montage consisting primarily of flags, monuments, military footage, and generic stock imagery. The goal is to create a thoughtful, emotionally compelling visual narrative that follows the progression and meaning of the lyrics. The project will combine: Professionally shot green-screen performance footage of the singer High-quality cinematic stock footage Historical or archival imagery where appropriate International imagery Motion graphics or visual effects Selective AI-generated imagery or compositing where it improves the production Professional editing, color grading, and visual continuity I already have a detailed creative concept and storyboard that will be provided to the selected editor. Creative Direction The overall visual progression should move through the following emotional arc: Beauty of America → ordinary people → hope and unity → reflection → America’s relationship with the world → moral leadership → service to humanity → emotional and hopeful conclusion. The singer should appear periodically throughout the film as a narrator and emotional guide, but the video should not simply show the performer singing continuously with B-roll placed over the music. The finished video should feel more like a cinematic short film built around a song. A major thematic section includes the lyrics: “America was called to lead Not by power, but by deed Not to show superiority But a chance to serve humanity.” This section should become one of the visual and emotional high points of the video. The imagery should communicate leadership through humanitarian service, cooperation, medicine, disaster relief, education, diplomacy, science, and human connection rather than dominance. Green-Screen Footage The singer will be professionally filmed separately on green screen. The selected editor will receive: Full-length lip-sync performance takes Tight close-ups Medium shots Three-quarter shots Full-body footage Left and right three-quarter angles Walking footage Silent reflective B-roll Additional reaction and movement shots The editor must be experienced with professional green-screen keying and compositing. The goal is for the performer to appear naturally integrated into appropriate environments rather than appearing obviously placed over artificial backgrounds. Stock / Archival Footage The video will rely substantially on licensed stock footage. Likely imagery may include: American landscapes and cities Small-town America Families Children Workers Healthcare professionals Teachers Veterans First responders Agriculture American infrastructure Diverse communities International communities Humanitarian work Disaster relief Education Medicine Scientific collaboration Diplomacy and cooperation Historical American imagery where appropriate Applicants should be experienced in identifying strong cinematic stock footage and avoiding generic or clichéd material. Please specify whether stock licensing is included in your price or billed separately. Political Neutrality / Longevity Although the song addresses America’s place in the world and the responsibilities associated with leadership, the video should not become partisan political content. Avoid making contemporary politicians the focus. The finished video should remain relevant for years rather than being tied to a particular administration, election, or political party. Editing Style Preferred qualities: Cinematic Emotional Elegant Inspiring Human Thoughtful Visually sophisticated Strong narrative continuity Professional color grading Restrained use of visual effects Natural transitions Excellent synchronization between music, lyrics, and imagery Avoid: Excessive transitions Cheap-looking AI imagery Obvious template-based editing Repetitive flag imagery Overuse of military footage Cartoonish effects Excessive text overlays Generic slideshow aesthetics Deliverables Final deliverables should include: Completed full-length music video 4K master if source material permits 1080p master YouTube-ready version Clean version without titles if requested Final title version Project file or editable timeline if possible List of any licensed stock assets used Confirmation that all footage, music, images, and visual assets used are legally cleared for commercial release Additional social-media edits may be discussed separately after completion of the primary video. Revision Process Please include at least: One initial rough cut One substantial revision round One final polish / correction round Additional revisions may be negotiated if needed. I prefer to review the project in stages rather than waiting until the entire video is completed. Suggested Milestones Milestone 1 — Visual Treatment / Asset Plan Review song, lyrics, storyboard, and supplied footage. Provide proposed visual treatment and identify major stock / archival / AI requirements. Milestone 2 — First Rough Cut Complete first full edit with approximate visual structure. Milestone 3 — Revised Cut Implement creative feedback and refine pacing, footage, compositing, and transitions. Milestone 4 — Final Master Final color correction, titles, graphics, export, and delivery. Applicant Requirements Please apply only if you have direct experience creating: Music videos Cinematic narrative videos Green-screen compositing Professional stock-footage-based productions AI experience is welcome but AI capability alone is not sufficient. The primary requirement is strong visual storytelling and professional editing judgment. REQUIRED APPLICATION RESPONSE Please include the following in your proposal: Links to three completed music videos or cinematic projects that are most similar to this assignment. Explain exactly which parts of those projects you personally created. After reading this description, briefly explain how you would approach the visual storytelling for “America, We Love You.” Describe your experience with green-screen keying and compositing. Identify the editing and VFX software you use. Explain how you source and license stock footage. State whether stock licensing is included in your quote. Explain whether and how you use AI-generated footage. Give a fixed-price quote for the complete project. Provide your expected number of revision rounds. Confirm that the final video and all incorporated assets can be legally used for commercial music distribution, YouTube, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes. Important Please do not submit a generic proposal. I am particularly interested in applicants who demonstrate that they understand the meaning and emotional progression of the song, rather than simply offering editing services. The selected freelancer will receive: Final audio master Complete lyrics Detailed storyboard Green-screen footage Additional creative notes I am looking for someone who can tak
