Expert Cabinet & Millwork Shop Drawings + 3D Rendering — 2000 SF Home Renovation

Residential Cabinet & Millwork Shop Drawings + 3D Design Renderings I am looking for an experienced **cabinet/millwork drafter and 3D designer** to take my architect's plans, hand-drawn cabinet layout sketches, and design inspiration to develop **complete cabinet and millwork shop drawings for a 2,000 sq ft residential renovation.** The project includes **all custom millwork throughout the house**, including: * Full kitchen cabinetry, island, and built in banquette seating with storage. * 3 bathroom vanities and cabinetry * Custom bookshelves/built-in cabinets * Closet built-ins Primary Deliverable: Fabrication-Ready Shop Drawings + 3D Design Renderings The most important part of this project is creating detailed shop drawings that can be used by the cabinet/millwork contractor for fabrication and installation. The drawings also need to be detailed enough for the general contractor and subcontractors to use for plumbing, electrical, lighting, appliance, and construction coordination before work is installed. Drawings should include, as applicable: * Dimensioned plans and elevations * Individual cabinet/millwork drawings * Cabinet box dimensions and construction details * Door and drawer sizes/configurations * Fillers and finished end panels * Toe kicks and reveals * Appliance openings and panels * Sink and plumbing locations * Electrical outlet locations as they relate to cabinetry * Lighting/under-cabinet lighting coordination * Plumbing clearances * Hardware locations * Sections and construction details * Island construction/details * Bathroom vanity details * Built-in/bookcase construction details * Cabinet and millwork schedules * Material and finish information **The drawings need to be internally coordinated and dimensionally accurate so they can be given to the cabinet maker/millworker for pricing, fabrication, and installation.** I do not want drawings that are simply attractive elevations. I need someone who understands **how cabinetry and millwork are actually constructed and fabricated.** ### 3D Design & Renderings I also want the designer to create a **3D model and realistic renderings** of the kitchen, bathrooms, and key built-ins. The purpose of the renderings is to help me: * Evaluate the layout * Explore different design possibilities * Compare cabinet configurations * Make finish/material decisions * Visualize the final space before construction I may want to explore multiple design options, particularly for the kitchen and built-ins, so the designer should be comfortable making design adjustments based on feedback. ### Project Information I will provide: * Architect's plans * My hand-drawn cabinet/millwork sketches * Appliance specifications * Measurements and dimensions available to me * Inspiration/reference images * Cabinet and finish preferences You will be expected to **coordinate the architectural plans and my sketches into a cohesive, buildable millwork package** and identify anything that is missing or needs to be confirmed rather than making assumptions. ### Experience I am specifically looking for someone with substantial experience in: * Residential cabinetry * Custom millwork * Cabinet shop drawings * Fabrication/construction drawings * Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry * Built-ins/bookshelves * AutoCAD and/or Cabinet Vision/Microvellum/2020 Design * SketchUp or similar 3D software * High-quality architectural/interior renderings Please note this is a **U.S. residential project** so experience with this is strongly preferred. Please send examples of **actual cabinet/millwork shop drawings**, not just 3D renderings.
