Expert Photo & Video Editor Needed — Restoration, Enhancement & Digital Album Creation

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Photo & Video Editor who can transform low-resolution, older, imperfect, or poorly captured images and videos into clean, polished, professional, memorable, and high-resolution visual content. This role goes beyond basic editing. We need someone who can restore and enhance source material, then turn it into beautiful finished products that can be enjoyed digitally or professionally printed. The final work may be used for: Digital photo albums Digital video albums / memory videos High-resolution photo books Large-format posters Banners Framed prints Book covers Diary and journal covers Personalized gifts Social media Websites Presentations Promotional and commemorative materials The goal is to take ordinary, low-quality, or aging source material and turn it into something professional, emotionally memorable, visually beautiful, and suitable for long-term preservation or gifting. What You’ll Be Doing You will work with existing photos and videos and improve them through techniques such as: Enhancing and upscaling low-resolution images Restoring older or damaged photographs Improving sharpness, clarity, detail, and overall resolution Correcting lighting, exposure, contrast, and color Removing noise, grain, compression artifacts, blur, scratches, and imperfections Cleaning, repairing, or replacing backgrounds when appropriate Retouching images while maintaining a natural appearance Improving composition, framing, cropping, and visual balance Reconstructing or enhancing details where technically appropriate Preparing images for both digital viewing and professional printing Enhancing low-resolution or poorly recorded videos Stabilizing and cleaning video footage Improving video lighting, color, sharpness, and overall presentation Editing clips into polished memory or storytelling videos Adding appropriate transitions, titles, text, music, and effects Creating visually cohesive photo and video collections Designing digital albums with professional layouts Creating print-ready artwork for posters, banners, books, diaries, journals, and gifts Required Final Outputs A major part of this project is ensuring that the enhanced content can be used across multiple formats without losing quality. Final deliverables may include: Digital Photo Albums Professionally designed digital albums that combine restored and enhanced photos into attractive, cohesive layouts. Digital Video Albums Edited memory videos or visual-storytelling videos combining photographs, video clips, music, titles, transitions, and other tasteful creative elements. High-Resolution Print Files Images must be prepared at sufficient quality and resolution for professional printing, including: Large posters Banners Framed photographs Photo books Book covers Diary covers Journal covers Greeting or commemorative materials Personalized gifts Where necessary, the editor should understand print resolution, dimensions, DPI/PPI, aspect ratios, bleed, cropping, and large-format output requirements. The final files should remain sharp, clean, and professional when enlarged. Creative Album & Gift Design We are also looking for someone who can help turn enhanced photographs into meaningful finished products. Examples may include: Family memory albums Personal history albums Celebration albums Memorial or commemorative albums Anniversary collections Birthday gifts Graduation gifts Personalized diaries and journals Custom book covers Wall posters and framed artwork Large-format banners Digital memory presentations The editor should have a good sense of typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, storytelling, and page composition. The goal is not simply to improve individual photographs. We want someone who can turn collections of photos and videos into memorable visual experiences and keepsakes. What We’re Looking For The ideal freelancer has experience in both technical media enhancement and creative design. You should be able to look at an ordinary or low-quality image or video and determine how to make it significantly more professional. Quality Standard We are looking for more than simple filters, sharpening, or automated AI upscaling. The final work should look: Clean. Professional. Natural. High-resolution. Timeless. Memorable. AI tools are welcome where appropriate, but the finished product should demonstrate professional judgment and manual refinement. We do not want photographs that look obviously AI-generated, excessively sharpened, overprocessed, plastic, or unnatural. Faces and important details must remain recognizable and authentic. For print applications, the final work must also be prepared appropriately so that it remains visually strong when used on larger physical formats.
