Fast Turnaround Video Editor (Simple In/Out Cuts & Repurposing)

Looking for a fast, detail-oriented video editor to help scale my digital and social media content. The creative direction is entirely handled by me—I will provide the source video file, exact timecodes for the clips (e.g., 4:00 to 6:00), titles, and thumbnail concepts. I am a SPORTS anchor and I have shows I’m on weekly. So knowledge in sports is a plus as this could become a recurring job. The Deliverables per Project (Show Bundle): * Horizontal YouTube Video: Simple in/out cut based on your provided timecodes + title. * Vertical Reel/Short: A separate 1-minute vertical cut from a specified timestamp. * Thumbnail: Built based on my direct instructions and provided title. Volume & Compensation: * Rate: $30 fixed rate per completed show bundle. * Scope: Each show/project will typically require editing 2 distinct clips/bundles (though it could occasionally range from 1 to 3 depending on the episode). * The Upside: I produce multiple shows every week. If you are fast, efficient, and consistently hit deadlines, this will turn into a high-volume, reliable weekly gig with steady work sent your way regularly. Hook & Pacing Optimization: Apply a strong understanding of current social media algorithms, pacing, and retention tactics to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds. Styling & Effects: Add clean, engaging dynamic captions, sound effects, B-roll, and visual pacing that fits a modern digital brand. Requirements: Proven experience editing short-form video (please provide a portfolio/reel demonstrating Instagram Reels or TikTok work). Deep familiarity with social media trends, algorithm mechanics, and audience retention strategies. Proficiency in modern editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Ability to take direction well while bringing your own creative flair to the table.
