Summary

Field Marketing Specialist (Contract) Austin, TX preferred (other regions considered) | expected hours per week ~24 – 40 hours depending | Reports to the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing About the Role Timeline is scaling its Field Marketing function and looking for a Field Marketing Specialist, ideally based in Austin, TX, to join on a part-time contract basis, with the potential to grow into a full-time position sometime in 2027 as the function continues to scale. You'll start as the operational backbone of the team — the person who keeps every detail of the event program running smoothly — while learning every aspect of how Field Marketing works. This role sits at the intersection of Field Marketing and Operations — the operational backbone that makes events run smoothly: logistics, vendor coordination, inventory, and select on-site execution. You'll work in close, day-to-day proximity to the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing, with real visibility into how a fast-growing health and wellness brand builds its event program. As you build fluency across the function, there's a natural path toward operating more independently and eventually owning a specific area that's a genuine fit for you — the kind of area that becomes clear as you and the role grow together. This role includes regular local event support plus a handful of trips per year to represent Timeline at events elsewhere. What You'll Do • Learning Field Marketing's processes in depth across channels — HCP, consumer, longevity, community, and partnerships — building the ability to fill in and provide backup coverage as needed • Inventory tracking and replenishment — knowing what's in stock, what's shipped, and what needs reordering, at all times • Sourcing and ordering event materials, POS, and swag • Support of vendor and venue paperwork, including certificate of insurance (COI) submissions and other administrative logistics tied to event execution • Shipment coordination and tracking • Booth setup and teardown at (select) events • Event documentation — trackers, checklists, and briefs that keep every event organized and repeatable • Post-event recaps and reporting • Day-to-day operational support for the broader Field Marketing calendar, including scheduling and coordination • Supporting on-site execution alongside the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing, with growing independence as you build familiarity with the process • On-site representation at local Austin-area events, including attendee engagement and day-of problem-solving • This role will represent the brand directly with attendees and partners, so comfort communicating in person is essential • Coordination with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Operations Travel This role includes regular local event support in the Austin, Texas area (roughly 2–3+ events per year) plus travel to represent Timeline at additional events elsewhere in the country (roughly 2–3 per year; additional TBD). Specific travel will be scheduled in advance. What We're Looking For • Ideally based in Austin, TX. Other locations will be considered, with preference given to Orlando, South Florida, Las Vegas, Dallas, or Denver. • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, event operations, or a similar role. • Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, inventories, and logistics simultaneously. • Strong attention to detail and a natural inclination to build processes, trackers, and systems that keep work running smoothly. • Proficient with spreadsheets and project management tools such as Asana and Google Workspace. • Comfortable managing budgets, tracking spend, and identifying discrepancies. • Able to coordinate vendors, shipments, inventory, and event logistics with minimal oversight. • Comfortable supporting event setup and breakdown, including lifting and moving event materials. • Experience with beMatrix or other modular exhibit systems is preferred. • Confident managing on-site event logistics and external vendors. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where you'll help build processes as the function grows. • Professional and confident representing the Timeline brand at conferences and events. • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently. • Willing to travel several times throughout the year. • A genuine interest in health, wellness, nutrition, longevity, or science-backed consumer products. Why This Role • Real, visible impact from day one — the systems you help run are the reason events go smoothly, and that's noticed • A genuine growth path toward operating independently and eventually owning an area of the function that's a natural fit for you, as you and the role evolve together • Broad, hands-on exposure across every part of a growing Field Marketing function — HCP, consumer, longevity, community, and partnerships • Direct, close proximity to Field Marketing leadership, with real visibility into how decisions get made • A generally flexible, part-time schedule (~30 hours/week) • A defined path to an expanded or full-time role in 2027 as the function continues to grow • If you have strong opinions about spreadsheet colors, consider “where is that shipment?” a mystery worth solving, and get a little thrill when everything clicks into place — welcome, we think you’ll like it here. This is a position that will be required between 24 -40 hours/week (Hours will vary depending on the events planned) and is a contract position initially, ideally based in Austin, TX. Hours are primarily flexible on a week-to-week basis; specific or potentially expanded hours during concentrated event periods will be defined in advance. Anticipated start: September 2026.
