Figma UI/UX Designer — Elevate the Visual Design of a Web Platform (Redesign, Not From Scratch)

DESCRIPTION: We have a fully functional web platform that handles employee/contractor inductions – one portal for inductees (learners going through onboarding content) and an admin portal for staff managing it. Both sides are built and working end-to-end; what's missing is polish. Our current UI is functional but a bit crude and unplanned, and we're looking for a designer to give it a proper, professional visual pass in Figma. THE ASK: Take the existing inductee-facing portal (dashboard, induction player, documents, profile, etc.) and redesign it to feel more elegant, modern, and professional – the same structure and flows, just designed properly this time. You'll design in Figma; we'll handle implementing it ourselves. DESIGN UPGRADE ONLY: - No new pages or features – the structure, content, and flows are already defined; we'll walk you through the existing screens (screenshots/live walkthrough) as your starting point and provide a brand guideline - Focused on layout, spacing, typography, colour, visual hierarchy, and a light, consistent design system (so the whole platform feels like one product) - Deliverable is a well-organised Figma file – properly named layers/frames, reusable components, and a simple style guide (colours, type scale, spacing) so it's easy for us to reference during implementation LOOKIGN FOR: - Strong portfolio of clean, modern, professional web UI (SaaS dashboards, portals, or similar B2B products) - Good eye for spacing, hierarchy, color, and consistency – someone who can take "functional" and make it feel premium To apply: Please share 2–3 examples of UI/UX design work that you are proud of, and a short note on how you'd approach a job like this.
