Figma based design system and template automation for LinkedIn infographic carousels

Summary

I publish technical AI and program management content on LinkedIn. I want a repeatable production system built in Figma, or Canva if you make the case for it, that turns a text brief into a finished on brand infographic panel or multi panel carousel. Reference style: dense, structured, single topic explainer panels with numbered rows, side callout columns, badge headers, icon sets, and a consistent author footer. I have three example assets I will share on hire. I am not buying one off graphics. I am buying a system plus the training to run and extend it myself. Deliverables Design system. A locked visual language covering color styles and variables, type scale, grid and spacing tokens, corner radii, card and shadow specs, icon style rules, badge and callout treatments, and the footer lockup. Delivered as a published Figma library plus a written style guide. Component library. Reusable layout blocks built with Auto Layout and component properties so changes in text length reflow instead of breaking. Required patterns: numbered row with label, subtext and metric; grouped section with bracket label; three column comparison; phased timeline with connectors; left rail failure list; bottom rule strip; quote banner; author footer. A new topic must be assembly and text swap, not redesign. Template set. Minimum six master templates covering the pattern types above, in light and dark variants, sized for LinkedIn carousel and single image specs. Every editable field exposed as a component property or variable so the rest of the layout stays locked. Data merge path. An automated route from structured input to populated panels. I supply a spreadsheet row, JSON, or YAML and get a populated panel set back with no manual pixel nudging. Figma variable modes with a data merge plugin, the Figma plugin or REST API, and Canva Bulk Create are all acceptable. Same input must produce the same output every time. Content schema and prompt layer. A defined schema for each template type plus a working LLM prompt or prompt chain that converts a plain topic brief into valid schema output. Character limits enforced per field, with validation that fails loudly when content is malformed or too long rather than rendering a broken panel. I use Anthropic and OpenAI APIs and can supply keys. Icon strategy. A sourcing and styling approach that keeps icons visually consistent across every template, with licensing that is clean for commercial use. Recommend library versus custom drawn versus generated, and say why. Documentation and handoff training. A written runbook plus two recorded working sessions covering producing a carousel end to end, adding a new template to the library, and fixing a panel that came out wrong. I need to operate and extend this without you. Must have qualifications Portfolio of information dense editorial or infographic design. Charts, explainer panels, technical diagrams, not logos or generic social tiles. Advanced Figma component architecture: Auto Layout, variables and modes, component properties, variants, published libraries. Show me a library you built that other people used at volume. Evidence of producing design output at volume from structured data through plugins, Bulk Create, or a comparable merge workflow. Experience structuring content for LLM generation and solving the layout problems that variable length text causes. Ability to explain tradeoffs in writing before building. Nice to have Figma plugin development or REST API experience. Prior work in B2B, enterprise software, or technical content. Familiarity with LinkedIn carousel and document post specs, including how compression degrades small type. What to include in your proposal Your recommended platform and the reasoning behind it. Two examples of dense infographic work you designed. One data driven design system you have shipped and how the client operated it after you left. Your estimate for number of master templates and rough timeline.
