Filipino Proofreader - Trading App Localization

We are looking for a precise, detail-oriented native Filipino proofreader to review and polish the Filipino localization of our application. The app is in the trading and Forex niche, so familiarity with financial terminology is important for this role. Your main task will be to ensure the translation sounds natural, is grammatically flawless, and uses the correct, industry-standard terminology for traders in the Philippines. Key Responsibilities: - Proofread and edit localized app strings (UI elements, menus, and so on). - Ensure consistency in terminology, tone, and style across the entire app. - Identify and correct grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and literal translations that don't make sense in context. - Verify that financial, Forex, and trading terms are accurately localized (e.g., pips, leverage, spread, margin). - Review translations within Figma layouts to ensure text fits UI constraints, buttons, and screens perfectly without breaking the design. Required Qualifications: - Native Filipino speaker with an excellent command of English. - Proven experience in translation, proofreading, or copyediting (app localization experience is a huge plus). - Strong knowledge of Trading/Forex/Financial concepts and terminology. You must understand how traders speak. - Familiarity with Figma to review screens, understand UI context, and leave comments - Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work with localization formats (e.g., Google Documents/Sheets, Figma).
