Work Hours and Schedule: Night Shift - U.S. Business Hours (Monday to Friday) Work Duration: Full-time (40 hours per week) Note: Please include your resume/CV in your proposal Summary: The Finance Manager will oversee and lead UCBZeroWaste's Finance Operations function, with direct management responsibility over the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Reconciliation, and Consolidated Invoicing (CI) teams. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, process discipline, and operational accountability across all finance functions — from vendor payments and client invoicing to reconciliation and reporting. The Finance Manager will also serve as the primary Finance liaison to the Technology team, driving process improvements, controls, and automation that support UCBZeroWaste's growth and scalability. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop the AP, AR, Reconciliation, and CI teams including priorities, workflows, accountability, and performance • Own the Monthly UCBZeroWaste Consolidated Invoice process — ensuring accuracy, completeness, and issuance before the last business day of each month • Own the reconciliation function across vendor payments, client billings, rebates, and credit card activity • Establish and continuously improve financial controls, policies, SOPs, and approval structures • Improve financial reporting, KPI tracking, and dashboards to provide leadership with meaningful analysis • Monitor automated finance workflows, identify exceptions and data integrity issues, and coordinate corrections with the Technology team Qualifications: • 5+ years of finance, accounting, or financial operations experience including AP/AR, reconciliation, and client invoicing • Prior leadership experience managing finance operations teams with demonstrated accountability for deadlines and accuracy • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, accounting/payment platforms (e.g., BILL.com, QuickBooks), and financial reporting tools • Demonstrated success building or transforming financial operations, controls, and reporting to support organizational scalability • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and technology teams • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; CPA, CMA, or MBA is a strong plus UCBEnvironmental (UCB) is growing fast!
