Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities Support the Group Financial Controller in the month-end and group consolidation close across multiple international entities Assist in the transition and standardization of accounting policies and reporting under IFRS, including areas such as intercompany transactions, share-based / non-cash contributions, and foreign currency translation Help design, document, and implement improved accounting processes and internal controls as part of the finance function's transformation Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for statutory and management reporting Support statutory filings and compliance requirements across jurisdictions (in coordination with local advisors/auditors) Assist with the year-end audit process — preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor queries, and supporting timely close Contribute to the build-out of reporting templates, chart of accounts structure, and finance system workflows during the transformation period Partner with FP&A, HR, and other functions on ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional projects as needed Provide interim coverage and continuity for controllership tasks during the transition/transformation window Candidate Profile Professionally qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) or actively pursuing qualification 4+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience, ideally including time in a multinational or multi-entity group environment Working knowledge of Netsuite ERP implementation or process improvement projects is a plus Solid working knowledge of IFRS; exposure to group consolidation and foreign currency/intercompany accounting is a strong plus Prior experience in a technology, AI infrastructure, or other high-growth company environment is preferred but not required Comfortable operating with ambiguity — this role sits inside a finance function that is actively being redesigned, not a fully steady-state operation Experience with financial systems/ERP implementation or process improvement projects is a plus Strong Excel skills; experience with modern accounting/reporting tools
