Financial Data Pipeline Engineer — Property/Entity Data + Claude API Integration

We're a structured-finance and tax firm building an internal deal-sourcing tool. The front-end dashboard is already built and deployed — what we need is an engineer to build the data pipeline behind it: harvesting entity and property data from various sources, enriching it programmatically, and populating the dashboard's existing data schema. The conceptual model, the target data schema, and the dashboard shell are already designed and documented. This is not a from-scratch or figure-out-the-product engagement — it's a well-specified build where the "what" is defined and we need a strong engineer to execute the "how." WHAT THE WORK INVOLVES (high level): - Pulling data from commercial data APIs and public data sources (property/parcel records, corporate filings, ownership databases) - Building enrichment logic that transforms raw pulls into a defined set of output fields - Integrating the Anthropic (Claude) API for automated classification and extraction at scale - Joining and de-duplicating records into a clean, dashboard-ready dataset - Working with a lightweight hosted stack (Cloudflare Pages, a Google Sheet / small datastore as the data layer) WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - An engineer with real experience in the financial / real-estate / corporate-data space — you've worked with this kind of data before and understand what "entity," "parcel," "basis," and "ownership structure" mean - Fluent with data-scraping and data-integration tooling, and comfortable working against paid data-provider APIs - Hands-on experience using LLMs / AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) to structure and enrich data — not just chatbot use, but programmatic pipelines - Comfortable in Python; familiar with a modern agentic coding workflow - Discreet and reliable — this is proprietary work and will require signing an NDA before any project specifics or system access is shared HOW WE'LL WORK: We'll start with a short paid trial / scoping milestone to confirm fit, under NDA. Strong performers will continue into the full build. We already have detailed internal documentation of the schema and objective that we'll share once an NDA is in place — so the ramp-up is fast for the right person.
