Financial Manager for Accounting Firm

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager in the Twin Cities metro area to assist with reviewing, reconciling, and closing client books. Our accounting firm serves a diverse range of industries, including insurance, construction, property management, and professional services. A broad general accounting background and the ability to work across multiple industries are highly valued. Key responsibilities include: - Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts - Identifying and correcting accounting discrepancies - Closing monthly books and preparing financial statements - Reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable - Performing account analysis and financial reporting - Working with bookkeeping staff to resolve issues and improve accuracy - Communicating with clients regarding accounting questions and financial information Ideal candidate: A detail-oriented accounting professional with strong general accounting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience reviewing and closing books. Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or other accounting platforms is preferred. Twin Cities metro area experience or availability for occasional in-person meetings is preferred.
