Upwork job post Title: Financing Application Automation — API + Browser Automation (Healthcare, PII/BAA Compliance Required) Category: Web/App Automation, API Integration Budget type: Fixed price, $1,800–$2,200 (or hourly, see note below) Description: We run a dental practice and need a secure intake workflow built to eliminate manual re-entry of patient financing applications across five providers: Cherry, Sunbit, Alphaeon, Proceed, CareCredit, Happy, and American First Finance. What we need: A single intake step that captures applicant data once (name, DOB, SSN, income, requested amount, etc.) Automated submission to each provider — use their API where one is available, and browser automation (headless, credential-based) for any provider without one A status view showing submission outcome (approved / denied / pending / error) per provider, without needing to log into each portal separately Error handling that flags failed submissions rather than silently dropping them Security & compliance requirements (non-negotiable): SSNs and other PII encrypted in transit and at rest, never logged in plaintext Data retained only as long as needed to complete submission Comfortable working within HIPAA-adjacent security practices; we will require a signed BAA before any real patient data touches your system or account Credentials for browser-automation providers stored in a proper secrets manager — no hardcoded or plaintext credentials Timeline: 1–2 weeks What to include in your proposal: Relevant experience with browser automation on financial/consumer-lending portals (anti-bot handling, session persistence) Experience handling PII/SSN data securely, ideally in a healthcare or fintech context Whether you're willing to sign a BAA Your estimate of hours/timeline against the above scope
