Investment group. ### The problem, from first principles Humans kill roughly 80 billion land animals every year to harvest their tissue. The tissue is the product. The animal is the overhead: most of the feed, land, water, and suffering go into building and running a body we never needed. Cultured meat removes the overhead. Start with a small sample of cells, feed them the right nutrients in a bioreactor, and grow real animal tissue with the same properties and nutritional value. No animal is killed. If it hits cost and scale, it changes how humans and pets get protein. It is early, capital-intensive, and full of open questions on media cost, bioreactor scale, and regulation. Two of our investors are attending. It is about two weeks out. Your job is to make sure they walk in knowing more than anyone else in the room: - Build a dossier on every speaker: what they have published, what they are working on now, and what they have said publicly about where the field is going. - Give the investors a ranked list of who to meet, and the specific points to raise with each one. - Map the opportunities: companies, technologies, researchers, and partnerships worth pursuing, and the non-obvious connections between them. After the summit this becomes the standing job: track the field, find signal before anyone else does, and turn it into decisions. ### Who this is for You care that billions of animals are killed for food, and you have the discipline to turn that conviction into rigorous work. You read primary sources. You can go from zero to fluent on a bioprocess or a cap table in days. You are high-energy and ravenous, and you want a full-time mission, not a side project. Background in biology, biotech, finance, or research helps. Obsession is required. ### Compensation Direct version: this is a ground-floor role. Base compensation: [insert].
