Fractional PR Assistant — Ad Hoc Media & Podcast Pitching (Nonfiction Author)

Looking for someone to work with informally and on an ongoing basis, not a full PR retainer or campaign. The role is simple: keep me in mind and pitch me when relevant opportunities come across your radar, whether that's podcasts, book club features, gift guides, or holiday roundups. I'm the author of a nonfiction book on tech entrepreneurship that launched earlier this year. Ideal fit is someone already embedded in podcast booking, book club curation, or media roundup circles who can flag and pitch opportunities as they come up, rather than building a campaign from the ground up. Immediate priority is building visibility ahead of National Entrepreneurship Month in November. Podcast bookings, book club consideration, and gift guide or holiday roundup placement (Black Friday, holiday gift guides) are the main targets over the next few months. Open to a per-placement fee, a small monthly retainer for ongoing scanning and pitching, or a hybrid, depending on your usual structure. I'm a former publicist myself, so I'm easy to work with on pitch angles and comfortable being pitched to media directly. The price is a placeholder.
