Fractional Head of Product / Technical Growth PM – B2C Consumer SaaS (15–20 hrs/wk)
Worldwide
About the Role We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Fractional Product Lead / Technical Growth PM for 15–20 hours per week to take full ownership of product iteration, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and engineering velocity for a fast-growing B2C real estate data platform (Reventure App). Our app is packed with value: interactive map views, deep housing market data, charts, ranking tables, and individual listing analysis tools. Because our product has so much depth, there are tons of prime conversion opportunities—but right now, our funnel isn't built to capture short-attention, impulse mobile users coming from viral social media posts (X, Instagram, YouTube). We need a Product Lead to solve this immediately, while simultaneously leading product design and execution for an upcoming complete UX overhaul, speed optimization push, and new feature rollouts. You will direct product execution for our existing engineering team (3 developers + 1 Tech Lead)—holding them accountable to performance/speed benchmarks, managing sprint priorities, and running rapid experiment loops. Key Responsibilities Immediate Social-to-SaaS Funnel Optimization (Priority #1): Redesign user landing flows for traffic coming off X and Instagram. Use deep links, partial-value teaser blurs (across maps, charts, ranking tables, and listing analyzers), usage limits, and low-friction mobile checkout to convert impulse clicks into paid subscribers. PostHog Mastery & Behavior Auditing: Lead all product analytics using PostHog (session recordings, conversion funnels, event tracking, feature flags) to pinpoint drop-offs and drive data-informed UX changes. Map & Data Speed Benchmarking: High performance and speed are core to our product. Partner with our Tech Lead to set strict latency budgets and speed benchmarks across map tiling, graph rendering, and data tables. Engineering Leadership & Velocity: Direct our team of 3 developers and 1 Tech Lead. Define clear PRDs/specs, enforce execution benchmarks, and keep shipping velocity high. Complete UX Overhaul & Feature Launches: Own the roadmap for our upcoming full UX redesign and new feature rollouts, translating strategic business priorities into clear product requirements. 48-Hour Experiment Loops: Structure rapid A/B testing cycles using feature flags in PostHog to test contextual paywalls and UX hypotheses constantly without waiting on heavy release cycles. Requirements & Qualifications PostHog Expertise (MUST-HAVE): Deep, hands-on mastery of PostHog is non-negotiable. You must be comfortable digging into session recordings, configuring event funnels, managing feature flags, and setting up A/B tests on day one. Proven B2C Consumer SaaS Experience: Demonstrated track record with high-volume, consumer-facing data, mapping, or analytics apps (freemium/subscription models). (Note: Candidates with purely B2B enterprise or agency backgrounds will not be considered). Expertise in Social Traffic Funnels: Deep understanding of user psychology, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and designing mobile-first experiences for impulse traffic from platforms like X and IG. Technical Literacy & Speed Focus: Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs (e.g., CDN caching, database query speed, map tiling), set performance budgets, and hold developers accountable to concrete speed metrics. Communication & Time Zone: Fluent written and spoken English with substantial overlap with US Eastern Time (EST). Role & Compensation Details Hours: 15–20 hours per week (Part-time / Fractional) Rate Range: $50 – $90 / hour (depending on experience and location) Duration: 3–6 months with potential for long-term extension Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
