ABOUT THIS POSITION As Automation Helpers grows, we're bringing on a Fractional Recruiter & People Fit Consultant to provide dedicated recruiting consulting for our company — owning the full hiring pipeline from job description refinement through sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation. Getting the people-fit piece right is central to how we grow — the right hires are what let us scale without losing the culture and craft that make Automation Helpers work. You'll work closely with our leadership, applying a structured evaluation framework to bring genuine signal to every hire. This is a part-time, ongoing engagement well suited to someone who wants meaningful recruiting ownership without a full-time commitment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with hiring managers to refine and calibrate job descriptions before a role goes live — clarifying scope, must-haves, and what success looks like. Own full-cycle recruiting for open roles: sourcing, screening, and moving qualified candidates through the pipeline. Conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates against our evaluation framework (Curiosity, Access, Alignment, Activation). Produce clear, ranked candidate summaries and interview guides that give leadership real signal, not just notes. Conduct reference checks and synthesize findings into concise, actionable write-ups. Lead offer negotiations and manage candidate communication through to close. Maintain the candidate tracker and pipeline documentation so status, next steps, and history are always current and handoff-ready. Flag risks early — scope creep, compensation mismatches, timeline slippage — and propose workable solutions. REQUIREMENTS 2–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or people operations, ideally within service-based or consulting businesses. Demonstrated experience owning full-cycle hiring — from job description development through offer negotiation. Comfort conducting structured, framework-based interviews and delivering candid, well-organized written evaluations. Native-level spoken and written English, with professional polish in every candidate and team interaction — you'll be representing Automation Helpers directly. Reliable high-speed internet and a professional, quiet workspace for candidate and team video calls. Strong organizational follow-through; able to manage multiple concurrent searches without letting details slip. NICE TO HAVE Experience recruiting for account management, client services, or other client-facing agency roles. Familiarity with Airtable, SmartSuite, or similar no-code pipeline and tracking tools. Direct experience negotiating compensation packages and closing candidates. Personal background in a service-industry role — agency, consulting, hospitality — so you know what “good” looks like in client-facing work.
