Freelance Accountant / Bookkeeper for AI Startup (Delaware C Corp)

We are Vrai AI, an early-stage AI startup incorporated as a Delaware C Corp. We are currently raising funding and building out our financial operations. Our accounts run through Brex, and we use Puzzle for accounting. What we need We are looking for a freelance accountant to handle our bookkeeping and flag any actions we need to take (filings, deadlines, compliance items, cash and expense issues). We want someone proactive who tells us what needs attention, not just someone who records transactions. Responsibilities Maintain accurate books in Puzzle Categorize and reconcile transactions from Brex Flag required actions, deadlines, and potential issues Answer basic finance and compliance questions as they come up Requirements Experience with US startups and Delaware C Corps Familiarity with Brex and Puzzle (or willingness to work in both) Reliable, responsive, and clear communicator Comfortable working with an early-stage team Time commitment One to two hours per month to start, increasing over time as we grow.
