Freelance IT Consultant (m/w/d)

About Elithair Elithair is one of the leading providers in the hair transplantation industry and part of the Medical Hair Company. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Freelance IT Consultant to assess and further develop our existing DACH IT organization. This is a temporary consulting mandate with direct exposure to our CEO. We are not looking for an operational IT lead, but for an independent sparring partner who can objectively assess our current setup and provide a clear basis for future organizational and personnel decisions. Scope of the project - Review the current DACH IT team, roles, responsibilities and skill setup - Assess team performance and existing organizational structures - Identify skill gaps and determine which roles and competencies will be required in the future - Review IT processes, responsibilities, priorities and documentation - Identify organizational and technical weaknesses - Challenge existing priorities and help define the most relevant IT focus areas - Develop recommendations for a clear, efficient and scalable future IT structure - Provide management with prioritized and actionable recommendations - Act as an independent sparring partner to our CEO and management team Expected outcome At the end of the project, we expect: - A clear assessment of the current IT organization and team structure - Identification of key gaps and improvement areas - Prioritized recommendations for organizational and personnel changes - A practical target setup for the future DACH IT organization - A clear decision-making basis for our CEO Your profile - Several years of experience in IT consulting, IT organizational development, IT strategy or IT management - Proven experience assessing and developing existing IT teams and organizations - Strong understanding of IT roles, responsibilities, processes and skill structures - Ability to objectively evaluate team performance and challenge existing setups - Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset - Experience working directly with CEOs, founders or C-level stakeholders - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach with a focus on actionable recommendations Project details Contract: Freelance / Consulting Start: September 2026 or as soon as possible Duration: Temporary project engagement Focus: DACH IT organization Direct collaboration with the CEO High degree of independence and access to relevant stakeholders and information No long-term operational leadership responsibility
