We're not tied to one specific tactic — whether it's SEO, local search optimization, paid ads, content marketing, or something else entirely, we want to hear your recommendation and have you help us execute it. What We're Looking For We need a freelancer with experience helping local service-based businesses (healthcare, wellness, or professional services preferred) attract new clients. You'll assess our current online presence and help us build a plan to bring in more inquiries and bookings. Responsibilities Audit our current website, Google Business Profile, and online visibility (with a focus on local Minnesota search) Recommend the best channels to pursue (SEO, local search, paid ads, content, directories, etc.) Implement improvements — on-page SEO, listings management, ad campaigns, or content creation, depending on the strategy Optimize for local/regional search terms relevant to our Minnesota service area Track and report on key metrics (website traffic, inquiries, conversions) Suggest ongoing optimizations based on performance Qualifications Proven experience growing client/patient volume for a local business, ideally in healthcare or wellness Familiarity with SEO best practices, local/Google Business Profile optimization, and/or paid digital advertising Understanding of (or willingness to learn) marketing considerations specific to therapy/mental health practices, including compliance and sensitivity around client privacy Experience with local SEO in competitive metro markets (Twin Cities experience a plus) Strong communication skills and ability to explain strategy in plain language Portfolio or references demonstrating past results Nice to Have Experience with HIPAA-conscious marketing practices Familiarity with therapy practice management or scheduling software Content writing experience for mental health or wellness audiences How to Apply Please send: A brief overview of your relevant experience Examples of past results (client growth, traffic increases, etc.) Your proposed approach for a practice like ours Your rate structure (hourly, project-based, or retainer) We're open to an initial project to test fit before committing to an ongoing engagement.
