Freelance Product Label Designer — Refresh Labels for VetForce (Sustainable agriculture)

About VetForce VetForce makes environmentally friendly pest-control products for backyard farming and agriculture — trusted by people raising chickens, goats, rabbits, and similar livestock. Our brand stands for being science-based, effective, and serious about animal care, while staying clean, powerful, and environmentally responsible. We are looking at a designer with experience in pharmaceutical products label design or B2B products, Industrial products or agriculture products. The project We already have a functioning label design across our 10-product line, and it's not being replaced from scratch — this is a modernization, not a redesign from a blank page. We need a designer to take our current label, logo, and brand assets and elevate the look and feel to feel more professional, sleek, and premium, while keeping everything else about the label exactly as it is. What must stay the same (hard constraints) All text — including all regulatory/compliance copy — must remain exactly as written, no edits, no rewording Layout and label dimensions — the size, structure, and placement of information are fixed due to packaging and regulatory constraints We are not looking for new label copy, new layout structure, or new label sizes — please don't propose changes to any of these What can change (the actual scope of this job) Overall visual polish: typography treatment, color/material finish, texture, iconography style, spacing/hierarchy within the existing layout Making the design feel more premium, clean, and confident — sharper execution of our existing look, not a new concept Consistent application across all 8 SKUs in the line Brand values the design must convey Science-based and efficacious — this is a serious, professional product Cure and care for animals — trustworthy, safe, made with animal welfare in mind Clean and powerful — confident, no clutter Stand out from competitors — our red-and-white color identity is a deliberate contrast to the blue/green/yellow palettes common in this category; the redesign should sharpen that contrast, not soften it What we'll provide Current label files (all 10 SKUs) VetForce logo and brand assets Brand color palette Deliverables Modernized label design applied consistently across all 8 SKUs, at print-ready resolution/format, matching our existing label dimensions Source files (e.g., AI/PSD or equivalent) plus print-ready exports Skills required Strong packaging/label design portfolio (CPG, agriculture, pet, veterinary, or similar categories a plus) Experience designing within tight brand and regulatory constraints (i.e., elevating a design without changing content or layout) Attention to print production requirements (bleed, color profiles, file formats for label printers) How to apply Please include: 2-3 examples of packaging/label design work, ideally where you improved an existing label rather than designed from scratch Your estimated timeline and rate for a 8-SKU label line Any initial thoughts on how you'd modernize a label while keeping text and layout fixed
