Freelance Video Podcast Editor – Back Catalogue Project We’re looking for an experienced freelance video editor to help prepare a back catalogue of 60 video podcast episodes for relaunch. The episodes have already been fully edited, so this is an amends and reversioning project rather than editing each episode from scratch. The editor will work from the existing edits, following a clear brief and template to ensure every episode is consistent and ready for upload. Key responsibilities: - Amend and reversion 60 existing video podcast episodes - Remove or replace outdated branding, graphics, adverts and calls to action - Add updated intros, outros, title cards and other supplied assets - Make minor trims or editorial changes where required - Check audio levels, sync and overall picture quality - Ensure formatting and branding are consistent across the full back catalogue - Export each episode to the required platform specifications - Organise and label final files clearly - Complete a full quality-control check before delivery - Respond to consolidated feedback and complete final revisions We’re looking for someone who: - Has strong experience editing long-form YouTube or video podcast content - Is confident working from existing project files or completed master edits - Has excellent attention to detail and can maintain consistency across a high volume of content - Understands YouTube delivery standards and export settings - Can work efficiently to a structured schedule and meet weekly deadlines - Is comfortable using shared drives (ideally Frame) and project-management tools - Communicates clearly and flags any issues early Project details: - 60 existing video podcast episodes - Target delivery of approximately 10 completed episodes per week - Estimated project length: six weeks - All footage, existing edits, updated assets and amendment notes will be supplied - This is a freelance, project-based role - Remote working - Fee to be agreed based on experience and availability To apply, please send: - A short introduction - Examples of relevant video podcast or long-form YouTube work - Your editing software and version - Your availability - Your project or per-episode rate - Confirmation that you can deliver approximately 10 episodes per week Please note that successful applicants may be asked to complete one paid test episode before being appointed for the full project.
