Freelance YouTube Video Producer / Editor – British Explainer Series

We are looking for a freelance video producer/editor to help create a new series of intelligent, humorous explainer videos about how Britain works. The style is original, dry and deliberately understated. Think witty visual storytelling rather than flashy YouTube editing or polished corporate animation. We already have the scripts, voiceovers and illustrated AI-generated stills. Your role is to turn those assets into engaging videos through editing, camera movement, visual reveals, pacing, sound design and well-judged comic timing. You should be comfortable working with AI-generated artwork, bringing static scenes to life using movement, transitions and effects, and suggesting visual ideas that improve the final film. We're looking for someone with: * Strong video editing and motion design skills * Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar * Excellent visual storytelling and pacing * A good feel for understated British humour * Confidence to suggest creative improvements rather than simply follow a brief * Experience producing YouTube or documentary-style content is a plus The initial project is a paid 30–45 second test edit. If we're a good fit, this will lead to production of a three- to four-minute pilot and an ongoing series.
