Full Edit: 2-Min Launch Video, Color Grade + UI Motion Graphics (3-day turnaround)

Summary

Description We are a Y Combinator W25 company launching publicly this week. Our 2-minute founder-narrated launch video is filmed and the voiceover is locked. We need a full edit. To be clear about what you are inheriting: we have laid the pieces into a Premiere project in rough order with temporary titles marking where each element goes. That is a roadmap, not a cut. You are building the edit from that assembly, not polishing a finished timeline. Price accordingly. The work Full edit. Build the cut from our assembly. Select takes, set pacing and rhythm, handle transitions, cut to the voiceover. The VO is locked and cannot be re-ordered or re-worded, but you have full latitude on timing and visual structure. Our placeholder titles tell you what belongs where. You decide how it lands. Target 1:45 to 1:55. Color grade. Full pass, not a LUT drop. Balance and match every shot, correct skin tones, set the look, secondaries and power windows where needed. Scopes-based, broadcast-legal levels. Product UI motion graphics. Replace our placeholder title cards with real motion graphics of our dashboard: floating panels, masked reveals, subtle parallax, animated stat cards. We supply the screen recordings and static exports. UI must be graded and integrated so it sits in the shot, not pasted on top. Kinetic word-level subtitles, high contrast, in our brand type and accent color. Audio. Voiceover cleanup and leveling, licensed music bed with ducking, restrained sound design on UI reveals. Normalize to -14 LUFS integrated, true peak -1 dBTP. Reframe for vertical and square. Final project prep and delivery Graded requirement, not an afterthought. We need to re-open, re-version, and re-export this in six months without you. Project consolidated and media managed. All linked assets collected, no missing media on our machine. Organized bins and sequence naming. Labeled sections, no orphan clips, no disabled junk left in the timeline. Grade on adjustment layers or isolatable Lumetri instances, not baked into intermediates. All AE comps included and linked, named clearly. Font and plugin list. Tell us before using a paid plugin. Prefer native Premiere and After Effects so we are not locked out. Short handoff note: sequence structure, where the grade lives, where the captions live, how to swap a UI panel. Deliverables 16:9 master, captioned, 080p, H.264 16:9 clean master, no burned-in captions 1:1 square .srt matching the final cut Full project handback per above License certificates for all music and stock Style Structure and restraint of a Y Combinator company launch video. Caption energy in the Hormozi / Iman Gadzhi style, but everything else stays minimal and premium. Our aesthetic references are Apple and Braun. Grade should be clean and neutral-warm, not teal-and-orange, not crushed, not heavily stylized. If a cut reads like an info-product ad, it is wrong. No zoom punches on every line, no meme SFX, no shake transitions. Two specific reference links go out to shortlisted applicants. Timeline Hard deadline tied to a launch date. Kickoff and file handoff: today V1 cut with captions and UI beats blocked in: Wednesday 12pm PT V2 with notes applied, grade complete: Thursday 12pm PT Final delivery, all formats plus project handback: Thursday 5pm PT We turn notes around in under 4 hours. Two revision rounds included. Final payment releases on delivery of the exports and the project file. Only apply if you can genuinely hold this window. We would rather pay a rush premium to someone who delivers than save money on someone who slips. Requirements Premiere Pro and After Effects Strong editorial instincts. You are making pacing decisions, not executing a locked timeline. Demonstrated color grading work, ideally on talking-head or interview footage Demonstrated experience compositing software UI into video, not just captions Overlapping hours with US Pacific Willing to sign a short work-for-hire and confidentiality agreement before receiving files. Footage is pre-launch and embargoed. How to apply Skip the template cover letter. Send: Two links showing motion graphics work where you composited software or app UI into live footage One link showing a color grade you did, ideally with a before/after One link showing kinetic caption work A one-line confirmation you can deliver final by Thursday 5pm PT Your fixed price for this scope Applications without UI motion graphics samples will not be reviewed.
