Full-Stack Developer to Finish & Extend Our Partner Portal (Svelte web app)

We are a nationwide concrete company. We have a partner portal, a web app our national-account partners use to get instant concrete quotes, submit and track leads, and check whether a job is in our service area. The developer who built it has left the company. The foundation is there, but the portal needs to be finished, made fully reliable, and improved, and we have a running list of changes. I am currently trying to track down the source code but am not sure if we will be able to get it. What the portal does today ● Instant Quote calculator that produces a price range for a project based on ZIP code and project details (our actual pricing has not been uploaded yet) ● Lead pipeline where partners submit leads and can be updated/moved through statuses (new, contacted, quoted, scheduled, poured, complete), with CSV export (the submission form currently goes nowhere and has no connections) ● Service area checker that tells a partner whether a ZIP or territory is covered (only a couple generic zips are loaded in right now) ● Corporate admin area for managing partner accounts, users, and territories. What we need done ● Start with a review and try to find the existing code and tell us, in plain English, what's solid and what needs rework. We do know where the domain and the portal are hosted and have access. ● Redesign the look and feel so it reflects our brand and does not look AI-generated (it currently does). Clean, professional, and trustworthy, matching the style of our main site at samtheconcreteman.com. ● Get the Instant Quote calculator working reliably and load our real pricing (we'll provide the pricing). ● Update the service area / ZIP lookup with our full list of ZIP codes (we'll provide it). There are only a couple in the system now. ● Change how the ZIP lookup behaves: if a visitor's ZIP isn't on our list, still let them submit the lead instead of turning them away, and flag it for us to review. We may have a nearby territory willing to travel to them, and telling people we don't serve them costs us real jobs. ● Make lead submission reliable and email each new lead to us the moment it comes in. This is an interim step; we'll automate routing later, so build it so that's easy to add. ● Give us one place to see and track every submitted lead where we can update each lead's status, for example customer contacted, estimate booked, and job finished. A pipeline like this partly exists already, so this may be finishing and relabeling it rather than building from scratch. ● Remove features we don't use: the "We Work For You" / managed option and the referral bonus option, including any related fields, columns, and menu items. ● Work through any remaining punch-list items we'll walk you through on a call. What we'll provide ● Our current, accurate pricing for the quote calculator. ● The full list of ZIP codes we serve. ● Brand colors, logo You're a good fit if you ● Are a mid-level or senior full-stack developer. ● Are comfortable taking over an existing codebase from another developer with no handoff. ● Have a strong eye for clean, professional design (not a stock template look). If design isn't your strength, tell us and say whether you'd bring in a designer. ● Explain technical trade-offs clearly to a non-technical owner. ● Want ongoing work; we'll keep improving the portal after the first fixes.
