Full-Stack Developer – Website, Backend & Database Migration I am looking for an experienced, hands-on Node.js/JavaScript developer to help with an existing website and backend. The main task is to complete and stabilise a MongoDB → PostgreSQL (Supabase) database migration and ensure that the website and backend are working correctly with the new database. ### What you will be doing * Review and complete the MongoDB → PostgreSQL migration * Ensure data is migrated accurately and completely * Check data relationships, records, fields, images and links * Identify and fix backend/application issues related to the migration * Work with the existing Node.js backend, APIs, database queries/models and related functionality * Test the website from both the user and admin sides * Thoroughly test your own work before considering tasks complete * Provide technical direction where appropriate and personally code/fix issues when required I am looking for someone who can think independently, diagnose problems and implement solutions, rather than simply executing. ### Required Experience * Strong Node.js / JavaScript experience * Strong PostgreSQL experience * Experience with **MongoDB → PostgreSQL migrations** * Backend/API development * Database architecture and relationships * Debugging and data validation * Comfortable working with an existing codebase * Hands-on coding experience ### Initial Task The first task will be to resolve and complete the database migration and ensure the website/backend are functioning correctly.
