Full-Stack AI Engineer React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, SaaS, LLM App

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack AI Engineer to build a small, simple SaaS AI application that uses the OpenAI API for image generation. The goal is to create a clean MVP where users can enter a prompt or description, send it to the AI image generation API, and receive a generated image that they can preview and download. The application will be used as an AI image-generation tool for creating visual content from user-provided prompts. Users should be able to describe what they want to generate for example, product visuals, marketing creatives, social media images, concepts, or other custom visuals and the application will send the prompt to OpenAI and display the generated result. This is a small MVP rather than a large enterprise platform. We want the first version to have a simple, professional UI, a functional backend, secure API integration, and a structure that can be expanded into a larger SaaS product later. What You Will Build A simple and responsive frontend for entering image-generation prompts. An OpenAI API integration for generating images from user prompts. Backend/API logic for securely handling requests and keeping the OpenAI API key private. A loading state while the image is being generated. A results area where users can preview the generated image. An option to download the generated image. Basic error handling for failed or invalid requests. A clean SaaS-style layout that can be expanded with additional features later. Clean, organized, and maintainable frontend and backend code. Image Generation Use Case The main purpose of the application is to turn text prompts into useful visual content. For example, a user could enter a prompt such as: "Create a modern product advertisement for a premium black smartwatch with a minimal studio background." The application should send the request to OpenAI, generate the image, and show the result to the user. The exact prompts and use cases may evolve, so the implementation should keep the image-generation functionality flexible and easy to modify. Preferred Tech Stack You can use React.js / Next.js with Node.js, or Python for the backend, depending on what you believe is the most efficient approach for this MVP. Create a simple prompt input and image-generation workflow. Handle API requests, responses, loading states, and errors. Keep API credentials secure and never expose them in the frontend. Make the interface responsive and easy to use. Test the complete workflow and fix any issues before delivery. Provide clean source code and basic setup instructions.
