Full Stack SaaS Developer

Location: Remote – United States Only Type: Contract, with potential for extension Experience: 10+ years preferred We are looking for a Senior Founding Full Stack AI Platform Engineer to help architect and build a scalable healthcare AI platform from the ground up. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can own architecture, backend, frontend, AI workflows, healthcare interoperability, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack SaaS engineering experience with healthcare AI/interoperability and agentic AI expertise. Key Responsibilities Architect and develop scalable, production-grade full-stack SaaS applications. Build high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI. Develop modern web applications using React / Next.js. Design and optimize PostgreSQL and Redis data architectures. Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs. Design cloud-native systems using AWS or Azure. Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Design and implement healthcare interoperability solutions using FHIR R4. Work with Clinical Quality Language (CQL) and eCDS workflows. Build AI-powered workflows and agentic systems using LangGraph. Design scalable microservice and distributed-system architectures. Collaborate with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into production solutions. Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to a 0→1/founding engineering environment. You should be comfortable taking an ambiguous problem, designing the architecture, writing production code, deploying it to the cloud, and working directly with stakeholders to iterate toward a scalable product.
