# Full-Time U.S. Recruiter — 40 Hours per Week **Rate:** $7–$10 per hour, based on experience **Commitment:** 40 hours per week **Location:** Remote / Offshore **Schedule:** U.S. Central Time 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break. **Contract:** Long-term Upwork hourly contract ## About the Role We are hiring an experienced offshore recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based positions as well as a Upwork positions. This is a dedicated, full-time role. You will work as an extension of our company and represent the company professionally throughout the hiring process. You may recruit for positions including: * Sales Managers and Directors * Enterprise Account Executives * Operations Managers * Business Analysts * Implementation and Customer Success professionals * Product and Project Managers * Software Engineers * Other professional and leadership roles This is NOT a resume-sourcing-only role. You must manage the recruitment process from job intake through an accepted offer. ## Responsibilities ### Understand the Position * Meet with hiring managers to understand the role, required experience, compensation, location, and hiring priorities. * Ask questions when requirements are unclear. * Help improve job descriptions when needed. * Create a sourcing plan for each open position. ### Source Candidates * Find active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, and direct outreach. * Build targeted searches based on the actual job requirements. * Write personalized outreach messages. * Build pipelines for positions we hire repeatedly. * Focus on candidate quality rather than resume volume. ### Screen Candidates * Review resumes and applications carefully. * Conduct professional phone or video screening interviews. * Evaluate: * Relevant experience * Communication skills * Career history * Measurable accomplishments * Motivation for changing jobs * Compensation expectations * Location and availability * Work authorization * Interest in the position * Verify that stated responsibilities and accomplishments are credible. * Identify concerns such as unclear achievements, poor communication, unexplained job changes, or experience that does not match the role. Our company leaders will conduct deeper functional, sales, operational, or technical interviews. Your responsibility is to determine whether the candidate is qualified enough to move forward. ### Present Qualified Candidates Every candidate submitted must be properly screened and genuinely interested. For each candidate, provide a concise summary covering: * Why the candidate matches the role * Relevant experience and accomplishments * Compensation expectations * Availability and location * Work authorization * Motivation for considering the opportunity * Any concerns requiring further review Do not submit candidates only because their resumes contain the correct keywords. ### Manage the Hiring Process * Coordinate interviews between candidates and company leaders. * Confirm interviews and reduce cancellations or no-shows. * Maintain regular communication with candidates. * Collect feedback and communicate next steps. * Follow up on delayed interviews or decisions. * Support references, offer coordination, and pre-employment requirements. * Keep strong candidates engaged until the process is complete. ### Maintain Recruitment Records * Keep candidate information current in our applicant tracking system or recruitment tracker. * Record candidate status, interview feedback, next steps, and follow-up dates. * Provide weekly updates on: * Open positions * Candidates sourced and screened * Qualified candidates submitted * Interviews scheduled * Offers and accepted offers * Delays, risks, or decisions needed from management ## Required Qualifications You must have: * At least five years of professional recruitment experience. * Significant experience recruiting for U.S.-based companies. * Full-cycle recruitment experience, not only sourcing. * Experience recruiting across multiple professional job categories. * Excellent written and spoken English. * Confidence interviewing U.S. candidates by phone and video. * Experience sourcing passive candidates. * Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills. * Experience using LinkedIn, job boards, applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and recruitment databases. * Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills. * The ability to manage several open positions at the same time. * A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and professional video-call environment. * Availability to dedicate 40 hours per week. * Significant overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours. Experience recruiting for U.S. B2B technology, SaaS, artificial intelligence, or professional-services companies is preferred. ## What Success Looks Like The selected recruiter will be expected to: * Produce an initial qualified shortlist within five to seven business days after receiving a clearly defined position. * Submit a focused group of properly screened candidates. * Maintain timely and professional candidate communication. * Keep recruitment records and next steps current. * Identify hiring obstacles early. * Reduce the time company leaders spend reviewing unqualified applicants. * Represent the company professionally in every candidate interaction. Performance will be evaluated based on: * Quality of candidates submitted * Hiring-manager acceptance rate * Candidate response rate * Screen-to-interview conversion rate * Interview-to-offer conversion rate * Offer acceptance rate * Time to produce qualified candidates * Accuracy of candidate information * Communication and follow-up quality ## Compensation and Work Requirements * The hourly rate is **$7–$10**, based on relevant experience and demonstrated ability. * This position requires **40 hours per week**. * This is intended to become a long-term working relationship. * Hours must be tracked through Upwork. * You must be consistently available during agreed working hours. * You must have the capacity to dedicate 40 hours per week to this engagement. * Reliable attendance, responsiveness, and communication are required. ## This Role Is Not a Fit If You * Primarily forward resumes without screening candidates. * Depend entirely on inbound applications. * Cannot confidently communicate with U.S. professionals. * Submit candidates without confirming qualifications, interest, compensation, and availability. * Use generic mass outreach without understanding the role. * Frequently miss follow-ups or lose track of candidates. * Cannot commit to 40 hours per week. * Cannot maintain meaningful overlap with U.S. Central Time. ## How to Apply Begin your Upwork proposal with: **“I have full-cycle U.S. recruitment experience.”** Then answer these five questions: 1.
