Full stack dev

Type: Full-time · Reports to: CTO The role A hands-on full-stack developer to build and improve features across a custom commerce platform — a Laravel (GraphQL) API and a Next.js storefront. You'll ship real, customer-facing work end to end: checkout, payments, discounts, loyalty, shipping, and marketing integrations, plus the background jobs that keep it all running. What you'll do - Build features end to end across the Laravel (GraphQL) API and the Next.js storefront. - Implement and maintain commerce logic — cart, checkout, payments, discounts, gift cards, loyalty/points, shipping. - Work on third-party integrations — payment providers (Stripe/PayPal), marketing automation (Klaviyo), shipping carriers, product feeds. - Write background jobs & scheduled tasks (queues via Horizon/Redis) for syncs, reconciliation, and notifications. - Debug and fix issues on a live production system — carefully, with an eye for correctness on anything touching money or customer data. - Write clean, tested, reviewable code and take part in code review. Stack - Backend: PHP 8.4, Laravel 12, MySQL, GraphQL (Rebing), Horizon + Redis queues, Meilisearch, scheduled commands. - Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, Redux, Apollo Client, Tailwind CSS. - Integrations: Stripe, PayPal, Klaviyo, shipping/carrier APIs, Google Merchant. - Tooling & delivery: Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions CI/CD, self-hosted Linux (nginx), Cloudflare. You're a great fit if you have - 5+ years of professional full-stack web development. - Strong PHP / Laravel skills (Eloquent, queues, migrations, API design). - Solid React / Next.js experience and comfort with modern JavaScript/TypeScript. - Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and relational databases (MySQL). - Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD. - Strong attention to correctness and detail — especially on orders, payments, and customer data. - Good communication; able to take a feature from a rough requirement to shipped. Nice to have - E-commerce / payments experience (checkout, refunds, multi-currency). - Klaviyo or other marketing-automation / analytics integration work. - Background jobs & queue systems, caching, and search (Meilisearch/Elastic). - Multi-market / i18n experience (currencies, locales). - Comfort debugging production issues and working with self-hosted infra.
