GIS Data Digitizer: Transferring German Electrical Maps to Vector

PLEASE DO NOT REACH OUT TO ANYONE FROM THE COMPANY OUTSIDE OF UPWORK. We are looking for a GIS freelancer to help us transfer electrical lines drawn in official PDFs by DSOs in Germany and convert them into a vector file format. The work involves reading the PDF files, georeferencing the maps, extracting the relevant information, and delivering the output, preferably as a GeoPackage (.gpkg) file. The task is straightforward if you have experience with GIS. Knowledge of German is preferred but not required. We estimate that the entire project will take 100-200 hours in total. We are looking for someone who is able to commit at least 15 hours per week to this project. If you are interested please reach out for a brief trial.
