Gay Couple Seeking Video Editor for Romantic 15-Minute Mediterranean Honeymoon Cruise Film

We're a gay couple looking for a creative video editor to produce a beautiful, cinematic 15-minute honeymoon film documenting our Mediterranean cruise aboard Virgin Voyages. We'd love to work with an LGBTQ+ editor, although we're open to anyone who connects with our vision and has a strong portfolio. The Project We want a romantic, cinematic travel film that captures the beauty, excitement, humor, and intimacy of our honeymoon. Our journey included Athens, Santorini, Istanbul, Ephesus, Mykonos, Rhodes, Crete, and Copenhagen, along with our experiences aboard the ship. We envision something that feels like a personal travel documentary rather than a conventional vacation slideshow: beautiful scenery, spontaneous moments, romantic interactions, and a natural progression through the trip. (We also held a wedding ceremony aboard the ship. A few carefully selected moments from that event could be incorporated into the honeymoon film, but the ceremony itself is being documented separately in another video.) What We'll Provide We've already completed the extensive process of organizing and narrowing down our footage. You'll receive: • High-resolution photos and videos, organized by destination. • Approximately 50–200 selected media files per location. • A music playlist and general creative direction. A Note on Style This honeymoon film will eventually become part of a larger wedding-film project. We'd like its visual style, color grading, and overall aesthetic to complement our existing wedding footage so that everything feels cohesive when combined later. However, we don't want you to imitate the existing films or make everything look and feel identical. The honeymoon should have its own personality: romantic, adventurous, playful, and cinematic. We're looking for someone who can bring their own creative judgment and storytelling ability to the project. We can provide rough cuts of the other films for reference as needed. Deliverables/Budget • One approximately 15-minute honeymoon film in high-quality 4K landscape format, subject to source resolution. • Editable project files, including the timeline, so that we can make adjustments or create additional versions later. • In your proposed price, please include your editable project files, one initial rough cut, and up to two rounds of revisions. • Budget is flexible depending on experience, portfolio, and proposed approach We'd love to establish an ongoing creative relationship with the right editor, but this initial assignment is limited to the honeymoon film.
