Genealogy for Native American Ancestry Research

Dear everyone I need a genealogist to assist with two applicants to obtain evidence of their lineage to a Federally recognized Native American or First Nation Ancestry. So far, here is what we have: We have $430.00 for the job of hiring a genealogist to research their genealogy and pull digital documentation of lineage to American Indian or first nations of the USA to submit this evidence to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The clients only have their birth certificates. and a few recent collected details regarding the Mother’s side of the family. With only this information and the birth certificates to start, we need to build links to a specific federally recognized tribe, we should expect the job to take longer than 10 hours for each individual because the documentary chain may be missing key generations and you will have to find/secure replacement records. A realistic range becomes: Hours: ~60–120 hours total for an experienced genealogist Days: 12–22 workdays of active work Weeks: 3–6 weeks of active work Months: could be 1–2 months if records are hard to locate, need translations. Big drivers: How many generations must be reconstructed to-make the DNA link meaningful. Whether you can obtain additional records beyond birth certificates quickly (marriages, baptisms, deaths, land/court, migration). And records relating to Native American and tribal heritage research, including: -Dawes Rolls enrollment records -U.S. Indian Census schedules - Immigration records -Tribal affiliation documentation -Allotment and removal-era records Whether the DNA can plausibly support a specific tribe (not just general Indigenous North America ancestry). Beginning in the 1830’s the removal of Indians occurred and beginning in 1948 many thousands of them were offered USA citizenship if they applied within a year and some people applied and then left the USA to reside in Mexico. The descendants of Indians who became USA citizens may have derived USA citizenship from those Indians offered USA Citizenshp if they applied. There is also the 1830’s removal act under which people were forced out including those who applied for USA citizenship and under the 1848 treaty of Guadalupe those who became citizens. A DNA test is underway and we hope to get good evidence of North American Indian and First Nation ancestry on the results. The job is quite simple basic genealogy research. I am just providing the places to check to pull digital records and I am describing some of the historic background details so that you know this amazing historic information.
