Summary

We’re a timberland investment manager seeking a developer to move a curated QGIS forestry basemap into our existing self-hosted Python Dash app. The work includes serving vector tiles from PostGIS, COG tiles for 30m rasters, layer tree, styling, and AOI upload. You’ll support one region initially, with future expansion. Responsibilities include due diligence screening, asset monitoring, and likely setting up a new PostGIS database for a multi-region stack. Data sources include public datasets and proprietary APIs. Please share examples of web maps you’ve built, data volume, and how you’d serve large raster and polygon datasets reliably.
