Summary

GoHighLevel Automation & CRM Integration Specialist - Ongoing Client Implementations We are building a managed AI lead-conversion and lead-recovery service specifically for roofing companies and are looking for an experienced GoHighLevel automation and CRM integration specialist who could become our long-term technical implementation partner. We already have a team member building our core GoHighLevel MVP/snapshot. We are not looking for someone to build the entire system from scratch. We need someone who can review our architecture, help us simplify it where appropriate, and then take our standardized system and reliably deploy, customize, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain it for individual clients. We strongly prefer simple, reliable solutions over unnecessary technical complexity. THE SYSTEM Our service is being implemented in two phases. PHASE 1 — NEW INBOUND LEAD CONVERSION When a roofing company receives a new digital lead from its website, Meta, Google, or another legitimate lead source, we want that lead entering our GHL conversion system immediately. The system will: Respond quickly through SMS/Conversation AI Conduct an initial question-based conversation Qualify the opportunity Continue appropriate follow-up with non-responsive leads Book appointments when appropriate Send appointment confirmations and reminders Notify the client's team when human involvement is required Track lead response and conversion data Sync necessary information with the client's existing CRM when applicable GoHighLevel is primarily intended to function as the lead-conversion and automation layer. We do NOT want to unnecessarily replace a roofing company's existing CRM. If a client does not currently have a CRM, we may use their GHL sub-account as their CRM. PHASE 2 — EXISTING LEAD RECOVERY After Phase 1 is stable, we will activate controlled lead-recovery campaigns using appropriate existing leads already owned by the client. Rather than blasting an entire database at once, campaigns should allow us to segment and prioritize leads based on factors such as recency and status. For example: Most recent unconverted leads Older unconverted leads Longer-term opportunities The exact segmentation will vary by client. The system should allow us to: Import/sync appropriate existing leads Segment and prioritize them Re-engage them through SMS/Conversation AI Qualify responses Book appointments Track recovered opportunities separately Control campaign volume Pause or throttle campaigns based on the client's available sales/appointment capacity This last piece is important. We don't want to generate 30 appointments for a company that can only effectively handle 10. The system needs to support controlled throughput based on each client's actual capacity. WHAT WE ARE NOT TRYING TO BUILD RIGHT NOW We deliberately want to keep the initial service focused. We are NOT currently looking to: Replace clients' entire phone systems Build complicated Voice AI infrastructure Replace a functioning existing CRM Rebuild a roofing company's entire operational technology stack Create unnecessary custom software Use multiple third-party tools when GHL can accomplish the task natively There may be opportunities to expand services later, but our immediate priority is getting new lead conversion and existing lead recovery working extremely well. YOUR ROLE For individual client implementations, responsibilities may include: Review the client's existing technology stack Review and improve our existing MASTER GHL snapshot Deploy/customize our GHL snapshot into client sub-accounts Connect inbound digital lead sources Configure client-specific workflows and settings Configure or assist with phone number/SMS/A2P setup Connect calendars and appointment booking Integrate GHL with the client's existing CRM when necessary Configure native integrations, Zapier, Make, webhooks, or APIs when appropriate Map required data between systems Configure notifications and human handoffs Verify attribution/tracking Perform technical QA before go-live Troubleshoot failed automations or integrations Activate Phase 2 recovery infrastructure after Phase 1 is stable Monitor and maintain integrations you implement Common roofing/home-service CRMs we may encounter include: JobNimbus, AccuLynx, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, and similar platforms. You do NOT need experience with every platform. What matters more is your ability to assess an existing client stack and determine the simplest reliable way to integrate it with our system. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Strong experience with: GoHighLevel GHL workflows and automations GHL Conversation AI Calendars and appointment booking LC Phone/SMS/A2P Snapshots CRM integrations Zapier and/or Make Webhooks/APIs Data mapping Duplicate/contact management Troubleshooting failed automations Technical QA Experience integrating GHL with roofing or home-service CRMs is a major plus. We are looking for someone who can think through architecture, not simply follow instructions. If we're making something unnecessarily complicated, we expect you to tell us. For example, if something can be handled reliably inside GHL without Zapier, Make, or custom API work, tell us. We're interested in building a standardized system that can eventually be deployed repeatedly across multiple roofing clients. For the right person, this can become ongoing implementation and technical-management work as new clients are onboarded. PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS 1. Describe an integration you've personally built between GoHighLevel and an external CRM. What information moved between the systems and how did you connect them? 2. Have you worked with JobNimbus, AccuLynx, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber? If so, which platforms and what did you build? 3. How experienced are you with GHL Conversation AI, workflows, calendars, SMS/A2P, and snapshots? 4. When deciding between a native integration, webhook/API, Zapier, and Make, how do you determine which method to use? 5. How do you normally handle duplicate contacts, failed syncs, and situations where information is changed in both GHL and an external CRM? 6. Consider this hypothetical client: A roofing company uses JobNimbus. New digital leads need to enter GHL for immediate AI/SMS conversation, qualification, follow-up, and appointment booking. Necessary qualified-lead and appointment information then needs to reach JobNimbus so the roofing company's existing team can continue working inside the CRM they're already accustomed to. How would you approach this without overengineering it? 7. Phase 2 requires controlled reactivation of existing leads. Campaign volume may need to be throttled based on available appointment or sales capacity. How would you structure this inside GHL? 8. Based on everything described above, do you believe we're overengineering any part of this architecture? If so, tell us what you would simplify and why. We value this answer. We're not looking for someone who agrees with every idea simply because it creates additional billable work. 9. PRICING The $500 project budget shown on this posting is a placeholder. We are currently determining the appropriate fixed-price structure for recurring client deployments and want qualified applicants to provide their normal pricing based on the actual work involved. Please provide a realistic estimated fixed-price range for each of the following: A. MASTER SYSTEM REVIEW Reviewing/finalizing our existing GHL master snapshot, architecture, workflows, and integration strategy. B. PHASE 1 CLIENT DEPLOYMENT Deploying and customizing the existing system for a typical new roofing client. C. CRM INTEGRATION Connecting Phase 1 with a common external CRM such as JobNimbus. Please indicate whether you would price simple and complex integrations differently. D. PHASE 2 ACTIVATION Configuring and activating the existing-lead recovery system for an established client after Phase 1 is operational. E. ONGOING TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT Your estimated monthly fee per client for monitoring and maintaining the automations/integrations you implement. Please explain what would normally be included in that monthly amount versus what you would consider additional project work. FINAL NOTE We're not necessarily looking for the cheapest applicant. We're looking for someone who can help us create a repeatable, technically sound system that doesn't become more complicated every time we add a client. If you're highly experienced with GHL but believe there's a better way to accomplish something we've described, challenge the architecture and explain your reasoning. That's exactly the type of technical partner we're looking for.
