GoHighLevel and Vapi Developer Needed for API Integrations and Call Data Workflows

We are looking for an experienced developer with strong knowledge of GoHighLevel (GHL), Vapi, APIs, webhooks, and workflow automation. Our current system connects GoHighLevel and Vapi with PHAweb, a property and housing management platform. Some of the existing API connections are no longer working correctly and need to be diagnosed, repaired, and tested. We also need workflows that reliably transfer call information from Vapi into the appropriate contact record in GoHighLevel. Primary Responsibilities Review and troubleshoot the existing API integrations between PHAweb, Vapi, and GoHighLevel Repair broken API connections, webhooks, authentication, or data-mapping issues Confirm that Vapi can retrieve and exchange the required information with PHAweb Create or improve workflows that move Vapi call data into GoHighLevel Match calls to existing GHL contacts whenever possible and prevent unnecessary duplicate contacts Store relevant call information in GHL, including: Call date and time Caller phone number Call status and duration Call summary Full transcript, when appropriate Recording URL Appointment or transfer information Call outcome and required follow-up Ensure workflows handle failed calls, incomplete data, transfers, repeat callers, and other exceptions Test the complete process and document the final configuration Required Experience Advanced experience with GoHighLevel workflows, contacts, custom fields, opportunities, webhooks, and APIs Hands-on experience building or troubleshooting Vapi voice agents and integrations Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, and data mapping Experience with Make, Zapier, n8n, or custom middleware Ability to diagnose an existing integration without disrupting working features Strong communication and documentation skills Experience with housing authorities, property management systems, PHAweb, Twilio, or call-center integrations is a plus. Initial Project Deliverables Audit the existing PHAweb, Vapi, and GHL connections Identify the cause of the broken API integrations Repair and test the required API connections Build reliable workflows for transferring Vapi call data into GHL Prevent duplicate contact creation and ensure calls are attached to the correct contact Provide documentation explaining the final setup and how to maintain it This project may lead to ongoing work supporting additional GoHighLevel and Vapi client implementations.
